I was a freshman in high school. I was in second period Science class. My teacher said something happened, but didn't tell us what. But by lunch time everyone knew what happened.

That lunch was pretty quiet, people were acting peronoid and stuff. Some kids were calling there parents to go home early. There was even a rumor going on that our school was next, seriously.

My high school is called George Bush High School.

4th grade? Man, you make me feel old. I had already been out of HS for over a year. I was bored and flipping through the channels that morning. I could've sworn when I first turned it to CBS (or whatever I was watching at the time) that I was watching a movie. Real life? Nah..........that kind of thing can't happen to us. Boy, was I wrong.

Sleeping.

It was my freshman year of college, I was at home over the weekend and didn't have classes until wednesday so I was sleeping in that morning. Mom came in and was like "a plane just hit the world trade center, they're not sure if it was on purpose or if it was an accident yet though". I was sort of half asleep at the time so when I heard this I thought of just some single engine private plane (like the Cory Lidle accident), then a little while later she came back in and said a second plane just hit the other tower and I was wide awake after that.

At least L.Kizzle's school had sort of a valid reason to believe they possibly could be hit next, I live south of Boston and people were acting like Plymouth High School was next on the list right after the World Trade Center and the friggin Pentagon.

You stayed there? we had early dismissal for my school and I live in Connecticut. We even thought the bus driver was a terrorist.

Props to you for staying in a school named after the current pres. You either had mad guts or you weren't thinking straight.

I'd bet my money it's named after Bush Sr.

I was a sophomore in high school, after the second plane hit every classroom emptied and ended up in the commons area watching the TV's. I went home shortly after because no schooling was going to happen after that.

i was a high school junior on the 4th day of classes. i was in my free period doing some homework when the news came out.

i went to school in Queens New York, and let me tell you the day after, the smell of ash from the ruins reached all the way to Long Island

I was like who cares probably just n accident. Got u to get breakfast and see what she was rambling about, saw the TV and said HOLY CRAP this is got to be something big, then suddenly A second plane showed up and hit the Second tower, I was stunned.

I was eating my breakfast, when my dad called and told us. Then we turned the TV on and by this time both planes had hit. So we watched the TV coverage almost the entire day.
