Default Lakers pick 19th in 1st. round

Who can the Lakers realistically draft with the 19th pick?
And should they draft the best available PF, or the best available guard?
Is there a legit contributor that late in the draft? Or should they use it as part of a trade package?

By the way, I just realized that this topic has already been discussed in a previous thread. My bad!

I think we should realy pursue Nick Young.

If we're gonna trade picks, might as well be next year's or the year after.

I think our best shot at a Guard would be the draft.

Trade the pick. There isnt a point guard or big man that can help them and that is what they need. If they did choose though, I think Rush from Kansas will be the best pro out of all the possible players in that part of the draft board.

I agree to both, Young is the most likely choice. Rush might be a good pick as well, but most likely won't get drafted till the 25 26 spot.

But bottom line, draft night should be the day we make a big trade before we end up drafting someone that certain teams we maybe trading with have no interest in. IMO

I think our 1st round pick should be used as part of a package for another player. We cannot get anyone who will impact our team at the 19 spot.

Maybe they could put together some sort of package with that pick and a player to try to move up. Maybe Kwame and that pick is enough to get them into the lottery. Who knows maybe they could move up and get a PG like Mike Conley Jr who is someone I think has the ability to make an immediate impact on a team in the NBA. That would solve the PG issues and be cheaper than a lot of those other options out there. Just an idea, I'm not sure if it would work.
