Default Rank the draft history

Can you rank the draft history?

http://www.nba.com/history/lottery_picks.html

2003 seems to be one of the strongest
2000 seems to be one of the weakest

1960 was a good year.

I've heard 84 had a lot of talent.

1992 was cool as was 96.

The 1970 draft had some ballers.

Potential man, thats why half the guys gets drafted on draft night. Always about being great ONE DAY. no team ever needs a player to step in NOW anymore.

yeah i can understand drafting w/ potential. drafting guys like tyrus thomas, marvin williams, darko, bargnani etc. But drafting guys like doleac? montross? I see zero potential in them during their time hehe they are slow and stiff so its difficult to be great if you dont have raw talents and skills. you have nothing to develop hehe

Bad teams getting the top picks are looking to build. Obviously no one solid role player is going to turn them into a contender. If top teams get the picks they look to get a ready player to fit a role that can push them over the top.

And yet the good teams choose guys who they can store away in Europe for a while and wait to develop.

A single draft year with an allstar in every position. Nice balance draft

I just noticed Cleveland got big Z in this draft, he might be the best 1st rounder they ever had other than lebron. Man, they wasted lots of lottery picks on crappy players

10. Luke Jackson, Oregon Cleveland
6. Dajuan Wagner, Memphis Cleveland
8. DeSagana Diop, Oak Hill Academy (Va.) Cleveland
8. Jamal Crawford, Michigan Cleveland traded for Mihm
8. Andre Miller, Utah Cleveland - Andre was ok but was traded for miles
12. Vitaly Potapenko, Wright State Cleveland

They were lucky the basketball gods gave them Lebron

love the 84 draft. i'd put a team made of those guys against any draft. not the deepest, but incredibly strong at the top.

guards:

john stockton
alvin robertson
michael jordan
vern fleming (pacers starting g pre reggie)
ron anderson (pacers starting f pre person)

forwards:

charles barkley
otis thorpe
sam perkins
jerome kersey
michael cage

centers:

akeem olajuwon
kevin willis
sam bowie

1987 was underrated: David Robinson, Scottie Pippen, Kevin Johnson, Reggie Miller, Reggie Lewis, Mark Jackson, Horace Grant, Derrick McKey, Kenny Smith, and others ...
