when he knew there was no way for the Knicks to be under the cap for him he decided on staying put. blame Isiah.

I was never a bit worried.

Now... let's make some moves to improve the supporting cast.

The Cavs are in a MUCH better situation than the Knicks? Why would he want to go there? Because of his shoe contract? I'm not sure Bron's really worried about those extra millions at this point.

He never gave any indication that he was unhappy in Cleveland. He showed up unannounced to welcome the Cavs' draft picks to the team, for God's sake.

Like I said... never any doubt.

I knew he would resign but it's nice to have it official so people will finally shut the hell up about it. LeBron is staying where he belongs...in Cleveland! Of course this means another 5 years of sitting in the rafters at every game i go to...

Well he just saved a bunch of lives, I'm sure the suicide rate in Northeastern Ohio was going up about 10% each day of holdup/wait.

It was only a matter of time.

There is no way anyone coming off a rookie contract is going to turn down a guaranteed MAX deal. It hasn't happened in the new salary cap NBA yet and it probably won't.

He can always Vince Carter his way out of town if he really wants out later.

it's good that he signed.

i think it helps a player's legacy to have your career to be w/one team. lebron is so tied to clevland that it would have harsh if he left his contract on the table. he's starting his road on a smoother path.
