He's injury prone, but the best WR he's ever played with is Amendola who is more injury prone than he is.

Bradford has had crap for weapons his entire career, simple as that.

There is no telling how he would have turned out on a team like Pittsburgh or Atlanta.

And on the Eagles he still has no weapons.

It's like his curse or something.

Bradford has no idea what having an All Pro WR is like.

Maybe it's just that none of his weapons have played with a good QB.

It's not that...Amendola had his best years with Sam, not Brady

none of his weapons have ever gone on to do shit.

I don't believe Sam has ever thrown a single football at someone who has a simple ProBowl to their name, or went on to get a ProBowl.

And they hand out ProBowls to everyone these days.

Even the biggest Sam haters have to own up to the fact he has never had anything to throw at.

Not only that, but he has played behind some truly horrid o-lines with the Rams.

I was mostly teasing but I still think it's a decent counter and a case of a bit of both - good QBs and good WRs make each other look better. I think you're absolutely right that his career could have turned out a lot better w/ another franchise, but that can go for any player. Was Marques Colston, a 7th round pick, ever that good or did he just get lucky playing with one of the best QBs of all time?

Sure Bradford's never had a Julio Jones, but if he were a good QB he would elevate the play of guys that would otherwise be considered mediocre IMO.

And as far as Amendola goes, I think all the injuries zapped him of a lot effectiveness sadly, but he's still mostly been a good contributor.

I think Sam is the most extreme case of a QB without weapons, over the last 5 years I can't think of a starting QB that has had less to work with than him.

Literally the best WR he's ever played with is Amendola, a slot guy... And Amendola can't even make it as a starter in NE.

^^^ Rams dead last, Eagles are ranked 29th overall

That's not really fair. Not even the greats do that.

Look at Brady without Gronk. His numbers plummet from the norm.

The best QB maybe ever Rodgers in his prime lost his number 1 receiver last year and his numbers plummeted from the norm.

He couldn't really elevate those mediocre weapons.

Sam has never had even a "good" WR to use to be honest. His STL days the number 1 WR on his team had less than 700 yards in every season.

That is LOL bad.

Last year with Philly his best WR was Jordan Matthews. Who most Philly fans feel is not very good. And he didn't even crack 1000 yards. The only other reliable weapon on the team was Ertz, nobody else even cracked 400 yards.

And Sam was actually not bad at all last year. He finished the year very strong, with a 10/4 TD INT ratio and a 97 QB Rating.

Sam isn't a bad QB. He's not a great one, but he really has been given SHIT surrounding him for his career compared to other young QBS. Offensive line included.

He looked fantastic. I was very, very impressed with his play last night. Hope the guy can stay healthy so we can see what he can do with a guy like Diggs on the team.

Speaking of which, Diggs is on his way to becoming a feature WR in the league.
