Looked back a few pages to see if there was already a thread for FF advice but could not find one. Iirc, there has been threads for advice and questions in the past. Try and give some advice to others before asking for opinions.
This year I took a lot of late round fliers on backup/handcuff RBs assuming we'll see some significant injuries like last year. First time doing PPR, so it's a bit different for me as I would almost exclusively use RB in my flex. Now, not so sure.
10 Person league
QB - Big Ben
RB - Ezekiel Elliot
RB - Rashad Jennings
WR - Keenen Allen
WR - Michael Crabtree
TE - Gronk
Flex - Larry Fitz
D/ST - Seahawks
K - Cowboys kicker
Bench - Jeremy Hill, Danny Woodhead, Philip Rivers, Julius Thomas, Corey Coleman, Philip Dorsett, Tyler Locket
Other league, 10 people, 2 QB league.
QB - RG3
QB - Carr
RB - Rashad Jennings
RB - Ivory
WR - AJ Green
WR - Deandre Hopkins
TE - Travis Kelse
WR/TE - Amari Cooper
Flex - Allen Robinson
Bench - Goff, Cobb, Kelvin Benjamin, Travis Benjamin, Corey Coleman, Eric Ebron
I drafted WR's first 5 rounds lol. I over did it though because other people snagged late round QB's I wanted like Fitzpatrick and Rivers. Oh well, I have receivers on my bench that most people in my league would start so I'll just keep them hostage until someone gives me a decent QB
I can't even grade 10 team leagues, I just assume every team is stacked.
You have Gronk and Elliot on one team, Hopkins and Green on another...stacked
My draft position had a lot to do with that. I drafted 10th overall so I was able to draft Gronk and Elliot back to back. The other one, I had the 8th overall pick and I was surprised Green and Hopkins were available. I was staying away from running backs until the late rounds because I didn't want to put all faith in an unstable position. I drafted DeMarco Murray in the second round last year and that really bit me in the ass. But I had Freeman in the 9th or 10th round and he killed it for me. WR's are safe and consistent so I made sure I loaded up on them. Once people begin to lose their top QB's and/or RB's and they realize their late round WR's suck, I'll start baiting them with a few of my WR's for some decent QB's. In a 2 QB league, mine are awful. Carr is my ace and there is a lot of uncertainty with RG3 and Goff. If I get lucky and have some cushion in the standings, I might just throw a week so I can be on top of the waiver wire.
The major downside is that I have Carr and Cooper so that means I'll have to root for the damn Raiders.
12 team PPR:
BN: Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman, Duke Johnson, Christine Michael, DeAndre Washington, Tevin Coleman, Gillislee.
Worked out perfect for me getting Gordon ready for week five, which is maclin's bye week. Since I missed out on the top tier TE, I didn't feel like getting a guy like Fleener or Thomas and instead went with other positions. Also, I usually end up taking late round fliers on RB's with big upside in case of injury. I can see Michael, Washington, and Coleman all potentially getting at least a couple starts due to injury. I've never really been one to keep multiple WRs on my bench because I like to have the #1s or really good 2s.
Michael has already been listed as 1 on the depth chart
