I just don't want to be a smartass going with the good matchup over the better player.

Great players find a way sometimes. And idk if I truly trust Carr yet.

The game being in Washington is what may have me leaning towards him though.

I don't think it's fair to say Ben is the definitively better fantasy player of the two. I'd start Carr

You right. I need to get out of the mindset of starting the better player vs starting the better fantasy option.

Ben averaged 20ppg last year

Carr averaged 16

Standard scoring

Things can change, but going into the year it should be assumed Ben is the better fantasy QB all things equal.

Does that make up for the matchup? Maybe not...it's close I think

Reason to go with Carr has more to do with the Steelers than the matchup for me. No Leveon, AB has to deal with Norman (he'll prob get his anyways), new basically rookie TE, and no Martavis Bryant. I'd probably still roll out the better player in week 1 and go with Ben but I would just pick one and not lose any sleep over it.

Probably gonna be a last minute thing.

Imma wake up slap-happy drunk and make a decision.

Still got (yahoo league):

WR- ODB
WR- jordy
WR- Watkins
RB- lacy
RB- Gordon
TE- reed

Drafted Houston D but I picked up philly against Cleveland.

Got Hurns, Yeldon, Giovanni, Shepherd and tevin Coleman off the bench.

I'd go Carr. It's really close though, I see both being fringe top-10 this week.

What do you see Christine Michaels week 1 value as?

Edit: JB, it's hard for me to pick against Benjamin, but I'd go with Jones. I can see a high scoring game between Indy and Detroit. Also, is there some very real stat about the average scoring of a Thursday game being drastically lower? I'm sure there is, but it might not pertain to week 1.

Should I do this trade? I desperately need to improve my RBs.

12 team PPR

Mine:
WR - Allen Robinson, Brandon Marshall
RB - Hyde, Foster
Flex - Jarvis Landry

Give up:
B. Marshall & Foster for Lamar Miller and Jordan Matthews/John Brown (which one?)

lamar miller and jordan mathews both had higher adp's than marshall and foster respectively and imo are clearly better tandem.. id take that and never look back.

with the way miami runs the ball and foster's injury history, you're basically getting a 1st and 5th round pick for a 2nd round pick.. rob em.

Id do it for Lamar and John Brown for sure. I'd actually do it for either receiver.

Nice, thanks for the help.

Think my team looks more balanced now. I love having top WRs in PPR but this year my RBs selection was way too weak and had to be improved.

QB - Eli
RB - Lamar
RB - Hyde/Duke Johnson
WR - Allen Robinson
WR - Landry
Flex - J. Matthews
TE - D. Allen

BN - Lockett, Torrey Smith, Bilal

Drop Tannehill for Siemian (or a "lottery" WR on my bench) for Siemian?

Why would you want to pick up Siemian right now?

He looked serviceable, has nice receivers (and CJA catches too), most teams defense will be much worse than Carolina, and Tannehill was trash last year.

I'm not saying Siemian is Aaron Rodgers, I'm wondering if he'll be better than Tannehill.
