- I like that create a play idea.

- As for the pick and roll, the roll is great, the pick is atrocious. It takes them like 5 seconds to set the friggin' pick, by then I've been swarmed by defenders and can't get around the screener. then i finally do, and I'm still being guarded on the perimeter. Useless. Better than the 2k6 picks though, they set them very far away.

- Dirk's, Brand's and Shaq's ratings need to be turned down.
- Bosh's, Melo's and Boozer's ratings need to be turned up. Just to name a few.

2k7 is the bomb, really. I rarely get excited about video games any more, but this game rocks the house big time. Very few really enervating bugs in there.
Player ratings are a bit off sometimes (AK shoots far too well, Booze is nearly a scrub), but the game itself is pure magic.

Scratch that Dirk comment. He won MVP, so his ratings are going to be higher than Lebron's, Iverson's, Nash's, etc.

But yeah, 2k7 is the greatest basketball game of all time, seriously.

I love the game...but there were some issues I would like to see corrected.

-Computer goes out of bounds too easy
-Too easy to steal by playing the passing lane
-Computer doesn't understand the trade value of franchise players/stars
-More accurate team play styles
-Too easy to drive to basket and dunk.

exactly, they have to tweek the passing so you can make those backdoor passes and penalize people that play passing lanes to much in the half court easier

Stealing may be too easy, but CPU still has advantage to score often than human...

layups going to the backboard
players falling down like a 3yr old
too many blocking fouls
automatic foul when you fake the 3 then shoot it while the opponent is jumping
pg that tries to dunk on open fastbreaks then misses them

Singleplayer I like NBA 2k7 more. I'm winning around 50% at the highest difficulty level and i've been playing for months. In PES6, after a month I was completely destroying any team with my scrub team, on the highest difficulty.

Oh, and I'd like to see all players being named by their name in NBA 2k7. I mean, they can get Foye's name in there but they can't get Duhon's?

I want them to vastly improve the commentary.

2K7 was THE best basketball game last year. But NBA Live kicked its ass in the commentary department. I rented Live and Steve Kerr sounded like a real NBA announcer. He didn't repeat himself all game long like Kenny Smith, he didn't throw out random comments that don't make sense, ("Cleveland is going to try to run the clock out here" KENNY, THERE'S 5 min's LEFT IN THE GAME!)

Also, they still have a lot of room to improve the graphics. The detail was good, but a lot of the players were proportioned wrong. Lebron's shoulders are too high. Adam Morrison's hair is too flat against his head. Daniel Gibson looks chunky. A lot of the graphics are still a little too polygon-ish.

Overall it was a good game, but there could still be a ton of improvement.

The only major problem I had with 2k7, was that guys like Gibson and other rookie guards were scoring ridiculous amounts of points but guys like Lebron and Melo were only scoring a high of 15 - 20 points.

I don't know what the issue there is. If you look at the ratings, I think the highest rated rookie last year was like a 78 overall. I don't think that's all that inaccurate.

Are you saying the computer is making them score this much? Sounds like an AI issue. I never ran into that myself.

When I play as a rookie, I can score ok, but in comparison I can score a lot better with a good player.
