I could see why they would take him though. Maybe they will trade down.
How would taking a SF help the Kings? They already have Martin, Artest, Salmons, and Garcia fighting for minutes at the 2 and 3. They Kings either take a PG or a big man to fortify the paint.
And if we forgot a player, or highly overrated one, explain it.
Rudy Fernandez isn't included in your mock draft. I assume it was a mistake because he definately will go in the first round. A reputable draft site has him ranked #1 in 07 SGs. (they make combo guard/forwards a seperate category.)

I think ATL can take the risk of drafting Conely too high at 3 because they really need him (and he could be gone at 11) and they DO have another high pick in a very deep draft

i think its likely a number of teams would be willing trade up from a position where conley still can be had.
5. Hibbert- why take a complete stiff when Noah, Jianlian, Hawes, McRoberts and Horford are on the board?
8. Green- He can't penetrate against NBA 3's and can't shoot well enough to be worthy of a top 10 pick. He may do a lot well, but you have to do something great or at least have the skill set to eventually do something great to be top 10 worthy.
20. Almond- Better guards on the board in Bellineli, Rush and Stuckey.
Too Low:
10. J. Wright- My 3rd best player in the draft. Has amazing talent. Needs to be more assertive though. He's the opposite of Green in that while he never showed all that he can do, you can see that he will be a great distributer at the 3. He'll be a better rebounder and scorer than Green as well.
11. Jianlian- Too much skill = high potential = more value than a stiff like Hibbert and a semi-stiff in Horford. A player this fluid on the court can't drop to 11.
16. McRoberts- Said it before, he's my sleeper out of the bigs. Great athleticism and has pretty good touch. Needs to work on defense and grow some balls, but he is a nice offensive player. Hello Chicago.
22. Marcus Williams- My sleeper out of all the draftees. The guys is quite talented, but his attitude is questionable. IMO he's the next J.Howard, Caron Buter in the NBA.
I think Minnesota should take Law because Mike James didnt seem to work out and hes a really good slasher, shooter and can pass well. They need a point guard and Law could be better than conley
Hibbert to the Celtics doesn't make sense. He needs way too much space on the offensive end to go to work, and that's space that is already devoted to Al Jefferson.
