i beleive if portland chooses durant, it will work out better for both teams...

portland already has Lamarcus for the years to come in the post, jack and roy holding down the backcourt, a great swing player like durant and that would be a contender in a few years,

seatle get oden, get to keep lewis, ray + lewis + inside presence of oden = pretty solid team indeed..

#2 is the easiest position to draft at this year. The thread starter must have been on some good sh!t.

Really, this was a great thread and should be archived for future generations.

Durant won't be picked at one. At the most, Portland trades picks with Seattle should they feel that certain tingle of madness in the back of their heads, but Oden will be the number one pick.

We don't need Durant. We need Oden and have been praying to get him.

We will take Oden, and be very happy. We were already going to draft well because are GM is amazing. Now the sky is the limit.

Maybe 2 Rookie of the years in a row. This will be good. Im going to be getting scalped tickets all year long infrong of the Rose Garden. Home opener sells out for sure.

Raef Lafrentz is owed a lil over $24mil the next 2 seasons.

Portland drafts Greg Oden they gotta make changes. With Raef, Joel, Lamarcus, Zack...someone has gotta move. Joel and possibly Zack are more reasonable pieces to move. Joel got a new deal and really hasnt earned it. I remember a couple were actually high on this guy.

Portland should pick Durant. Don't know why (if they do) they would pick Oden. They have a ****load of Centers, Big men in general, already and possibly a rising one(LaMarcus Aldridge).

Actually listening to Yi's agent it seems he will dictate where he ends up. Yi in Seattle is not funny...would they take him 2? Not sure. Would they trade down with a team who really wants Durant? Possible. I wouldnt rule out Yi in Seattle. I dont think it should happen but read the Yi Yianlian article posted from espn Insider. And just listen to the things his agent says. He might pull a Kobe Bryant "I want to go here, here but not there there there"
