Thumbs down Chargers move to LA

There already was talk of disinterested fans of the Rams. So Spanos thinks it's a good idea to spend $550 million to share a stadium.

Not mention the history of the franchise. Good luck selling merchandise of another blue, yellow and white color scheme in LA

What do you think of this move?

They changed the logo similar to that of the dodgers, so I guess they will have similar colors

either way sucks, san diego fans got their team rob and now LA will have two shitty teams they dont care for

Does LA even want a football franchise? Much less 2?

I don't understand how this works.

Who will watch their games? Who are their fans now?

Do people in America support the franchise or the city team? San Diego fans will travel to the games?

This is so confusing for me.

Will Chargers/Rams be a rivalry?

These guys will be playing in a stadium that holds 30,000.

Worst seats in the house will still cost around $200 a ticket most likely.

They already had a crappy fan base to begin with, now nobody will give two shits about this team in LA. Kind of feel bad for them.

would actually be pretty cool to see a game at the StubHub center. It will be a really intimate atmosphere.

What is so difficult about this move for people to understand? They will share the stadium just like the Giants and Jets share MetLife stadium in New Jersey.

From my understanding the Chargers were not going to get the type of financial backing that they were looking for to build a new stadium in San Diego.

Why not move them to Portland or another city that doesn't have a team. This is going to backfire on the Chargers.

I think there's new markets that would flourish. Portland I think would certainly do well, San Antonio does have the Cowboys nearby, but the Alamodome is a decent stadium.

Though I think this is a bad deal all around for everyone, the Rams being "#1" in LA seems odd considering they are 60-131 since 2004.

I don't care for the Chargers moving to LA, but the Rams moving there was a good call. They have history there, and if they can win games they'll amass a great interest in the nation's second biggest market. The powerhouse move would be to somehow get the Raiders back in LA.
