Lebron used be until he singlehandedly destroyed the greatest team of all time and made Steph Curry his b1tch. Now he is the most beloved.

Brady is definitely the most hated now mainly by Joe Montana fan boys because they dont like Brady being the clear cut greatest of all time.

Brady barley beats out Montana's superbowl stats with more appearances and more importantly, the modern pass friendly era of the NFL!

Know how guys used to be able to pull down 30 rebounds a night with out a problem in the NBA in the 1960s and how now that is pretty much impossible?

Know how Wilt's 55 ppg season needs to be taken with a grain of salt due to massive differences in the league when compared to modern day?

That is the same with football in the 80's and football in the 2000's. The game has been tailor made to open up the passing game. Back then there was no 15 yard penalty if you breathe on the quarterback. There wasn't any of this "no helmet to helmet", "defenseless receiver" type bullshit. Back then it was tough to go out into the middle. You were putting your body on the line every single time and risking getting taken out of the game permanently. Now players can cruise all around the middle of field with absolutely no fear of repercussion. When the inside is free game, it opens up the outside. Now when the QB doesn't have to worry about getting his head taken off when he see's a defender closing in, he can fearlessly step up and throw a frozen rope and it's not even a big deal. It is a completely different ballgame.

Brady has also faced way better defenses than Montana has, who also played under the West Coast Offense system, obviously benefited from that.

Brady plays under BB, who is a defensive genius, not offense.

Also, sorry that Joe Montana was not good enough to make it to 3 more superbowls.
