Duh.

You are proving my point EXACTLY That football is a TEAM sport

Broncos defense was good but their offense was shit and hmmmmm let's see they went 9-7.

Duh.

ITS A TEAM SPORT.

A great offense benefits the defense, it keeps the opposing offense off the field and provides rest. Playing with the lead is a lot different than playing from behind, it totally changes the gameplan of the other team. Anyone who thinks Dallas was the #5 defense is a certified clown. They were #16 last year with garbage QB's.

Boom. Problem solved. The result will be more meaningful than either one taken alone.

Exactly...which is why the Patriots I believe were ranked 7th or 8th overall in defense, depending on the stats metric used.

So, yes, they have a very good defense, but not the best defense in the NFL.

Last time I checked POINTS IS WHAT DETERMINES THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME THEREFORE THE MOST IMPORTANT STAT

DONT BRING UP HOW MANY RANGS BRADY HAS WON

JUST YARDS. CUS THATS MORE IMPORTANT RIGHT???

Clown boy.

Did Brady ever win a Super Bowl when he didn't have a great defense? Even their last super bowl, he left his defense on the field and they bailed him out. He should be on a 3 game super bowl losing streak

Tom Brady is 22 TDs 0 INTs 6 - 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers under Mike Tomlin

I don't think the New England defense was the problem here, bigger problem is that Bill Belichick and Tom Brady own Mike Tomlin's team, even when the Steelers were great on defense.

He didn't win in the 2 years he had an average defense, even though those were 2 of his best offensive seasons. Just goes to show you how much of a team game it is. NO BUT IT'S ALL BRADY, HE DA REASON THE PATRIOTS ARE SO GOOD YAH.

Celticballer even told me he would still be goat if he was drafted by the Jets I know he doesn't believe that

The Jets have had some of the best defenses ever, the same Jets team that beat the Patriots with Mark Sanchez and made the AFCCG because their pass rush was all over Brady, I guess that was one of those seasons where the defense was "average" as you would say

Sanchez did throw 3 TDs in that game, one off a Patrick Chung fumble that gave him short field, only had 194 Yds to Tom's 299, Brady was sacked 5 times for a loss of 40 yards, Sanchez didn't get sacked once. They held the Pats to 21 but also beat Manning in the Wild Card round, holding him to 16 points with only 225 yards and he was only sacked once

Last year's and 2011 Playoffs' loss had more to do with the Patriots having a terrible offensive line, I don't care who you put at QB but if you have an O-line that is constantly changing with zero chemistry and experience, your QB's impact will be greatly diminished. It was evident last year when they inevitably faced the Broncos and had to play @Denver because Bill made the mistake of riding his average defense against the Jets' offense and they ended up giving up the #1 seed.
