comon, Lebron in the Finals = $$$$$$
Yeah... so untouchable, he got a grand total of '0' free throws in game 1.

It is a judgment call. It clearly states in the rules that players on the bench are not allowed past a specific point if an altercation breaks out. Amare/Boris crossed that line, so they got suspended.

This is a judgment call. If Bron got preferential treatment, he would have been paraded to the line in Game 1.

I dont think they are even reveiwing it anymore. It should have been called foul. No suspension needed IMO.

Unlike the Boris/Amare incident, this is a judgment call.

And the Kobe issues are different? Serious question..

I don't think so. He doesn't have a reputation for stuff like that, and with this being the ECF and all... I doubt anything comes of it.

The fact that LeBron was getting hacked and got 0 FTAs should be considered punishment enough.

I don't want him to be suspended, but if the league wants to retain its integrity, it may have to. A bad rule is a bad rule. Can't change it simply because of the stage.

Stern made a mistake with the Kobe situation. He dug himself a hole and then, when Kobe did it again, he was forced to follow suit.

However, this is the ECF, not a game in the middle of the regular season. People can say it doesn't matter, but it most definitely does. I can almost guarantee that, had Kobe initially done his 'wandering elbow' routine in the WCF, he would not have been suspended.

WHY does it matter where and when a violation occurs? So a "unnatural basketball act" only deserves punishment in the regular season and not deep into he playoffs? I guess the NBA should NOT have suspended Amare and Diaw when they left the bench because it took place in a playoff series right?

The league suspended Kobe after his very FIRST incident with that Euro Flopper, Manu Ginobili. The precedent by the league was already set and in place. When Kobe did it again.....guess what? He was suspended AGAIN.

WHY is LeBron ABOVE the league rules? Because it's "LeBron"? Because it's the PLAYOFFS? Or BOTH?

Kobe did it and got suspended. precedent set saying its an "unnatural basketball act". Lebron did the same thing.

Just like Amare/Diaw were suspeneded for a pivotal game 5 because they broke the rules, Lebron should be too.

Id rather him not getting suspended, I hate that stupid rule anyways, but he did it and he should be suspended if the league wants to be consistent.

@ them calling it an "unnatural act."

Won't be suspended. It looks like he is just bringing his elbows down after a shot. It might be dirty, but it certainly isn't unnatural. He mangaged to find a way to cheap shot someone with in the rules of the game. It is a veteran's move, similar to the stuff Bowen does.

He's not Kobe so why on earth would David Stern suspend the Golden Boy? This is the EXACT same play that Kobe got suspended for TWICE in the regular season. Except when Lebron swung his arms after releasing the shot he hit C-Webb with his elbow instead of his hand like Kobe, other than that, exact same scenario.

Provide all the video evidence for your case. I don't think LBJ's actions deserve punishment, but I could be wrong. Anyway, there has been little to no media coverage of the elbows, so I doubt anything will happen.

Please don't tell me it's not the exact same thing, almost looks like a carbon copy.

Of course there hasn't been any media coverage on this because he's the media darling, he's "The King."

Perhaps there is no coverage because there is no story. The angles on Bryant's fouls are much blantant and dirty. Lebron's isn't nearly so obvious.
