This is the type of player that we love here in Utah.
I hope so. But it sure seems like some Jazz fans expect him to hold weekly interviews updating them on his current level of happiness within the State of Utah.
Why would a guy who gets consistantly ripped by the media want to do inteviews anyway?... I don't blame him(or anyone for thar matter) for just wanting to keep quiet and enjoy the summer. After all, it isthe off season. Maybe He's just too busy working in the gym to talk too the media...
I think the only issue we have is we keep hearing all the trade rumors. After the last part of last season, we wonder why we would want to lose any of the primary rotation. AK, Booz, Mehmet, D Williams, Harpring are all pretty important to how the Jazz want to play. We're used to success and are patient in winning again, but it'd suck to lose an integral part of that success we enjoyed in the playoff race.

That's because they've nothing better to write. There aren't really any "bad seeds" on the Jazz for the media to leach off of, so they attack Boozer...

Honestly, I hear more rumors of trades based from the national media than from the local guys. Usually the Boozer trade rumors have started off the east coast (the recent AI, W Szerbiak, Boozer deal for example........HOW is that good for the Jazz?)

What that tells me is that Boozer is a wanted man. The Jazz have him and other teams want him. Seems like most of these rumors are base-less space filler.

All he has to do is come out and say he is excited for the season, and ready to play for the jazz. I dont see why this is so hard.
I just noticed some tool over on the Lakers board has suggested Smush Parker,Chris Mihm, and Brian Cook for Boozer!!! If that's not te most laughable trade I've ever heard someone seriously suggest I'd die.
That's Lakers fans for you. They tend to think that teams have some kind of obligation to give away their best players if the Lakers could use them. Same with Al Harrington.
Okay summit, so why don't you show me where the rest of the Jazz players have come out and said this stuff this offseason.
I understand what you are saying and I respect that point of view.
But, no other corner stone players are being pushed at this time. AK is locked in his contact, same with Okur. But neither of those players have the impact that boozer does on our (or any ) team.
So there loyalty is not in question here.
As for the laker trade... i would also die.
Is it just me or does is seem that most laker fans were bulls fans about 8 years ago.
