cool...i look forward to watching him play

I really hope he turns out to be as advertised

Clowney is turning out to be that...so there is an example of an elite prospect starting off injured and returning from it.

Edge Myles Garrett, 49.3 overall grade
Garrett’s career got off to a fast start, as he tallied a sack on the first drive of the game after a missed pickup by the Jets’ offensive line, and posted a second one later cleaning up on a McCown scramble. Otherwise, he was ineffective in the rest of his 16 snaps, as he posted a run defense grade of just 45.2 and made no other impact on the pass-rush.

Both 49ers and Browns 0-5

Should’ve have traded for Jimmy G

Browns should have addressed their QB needs and took a shot on Trubisky instead of taking Garrett.

I would rather they swing for the fences then continually do the "smart" thing.

They were so smart to pass on wentz, trubs, Bosa, zeke, deshaun, hooker, etc..

Well at least now they have more f*cking draft picks to blow.

Garrett is going to have an up and down year and everyone is going to say, "wait until he's healthy". If Trubisky plays well tonight it's gonna be the final straw for me. So sick of the f*cking bullsh*t and all the fans every single f*cking year "DUDE THE BROWNS WON THE DRAFT"

The good thing for the browns is Kizer clearly hasn't shown anything. A wasted second round pick for sure, but they will likely be in position to take Rosen.

I don't think darnold comes out this year. Lamar Jackson would be a fun ride for Cleveland fans.

They can right the ship. Eventually they will right the ahip.

You could have gotten a good QB in Jimmy G with that pick

Browns have been looking for a QB for the past 20 years, that is not a coincidence that everytime an opportunity shows up they **** it up

Will you stop it. He's played 6 quarters of football.

Brissett played more and showed more in his NE time.

The Browns and 9ers were better off waiting til Free Agency anyway. The Pats aren't gonna franchise him and if Brady is still here they're not gonna give Jimmy 15+ million to be a backup

Only one wasted second rounder is literally the best draft the Browns had the past 2 regimes. They blow a first ever single year. This year at least all 3 of our firsts are pretty good. Coleman is a bust thus far though.

Just think how sweet thepayoff will be when you finally become a contender. Sticking thru it with this team all these years is commendable

And Brissett never even looked as good as Jimmy did. Jimmy played at an All pro level in those 6 quarters. Brissett look like a starting QB

Now look at Brissett in Indianapolis. Guy looks good and he wasn’t half the QB jimmy was in NE

Edit: I’m willing to bet Brady is either going to be released or traded in favor of Jimmy G. That’s how special the kid is

He's right tho. Alot of these teams with historically bad shitty QB situations never draft a QB early in the first round as they always think that QB is not a franchise QB and they'll wait until they can find one. In the meantime they always draft a QB in the second or third and sign some veteran stop gap QB like Brad Hoyer. And it never works.

And it's funny because the Browns have constantly been drafting in the top 5-10 for the past 20 years. You think they can find a competent QB eventually?

BTW, why isn't that guy Kessler getting a chance? I thought he played well last year when RG3 went down

Browns have drafted several big name QB's in the 1st round that all busted BIG TIME, that's why they stopped

Tim Couch
Brady Quinn
Colt McCoy
Johny Manziel

Besides Couch they were all late first rounders and McCoy was third round pick. Quinn looked like a great pick at the time, can't fault the Browns on that one. But Manziel? No one but the Browns wanted to get near that dude, dude's a headcase. Drafting a 28 year old rookie in Weeden in the first? LOL.

Then they signed Jeff Garcia years ago, tried Derek Anderson, traded for RG3, tried Hoyer, etc. Bunch of stop gap QBs..

That's why I don't even hate the move in starting Kaizer. It's better than starting some random stop gap QB like Brad Hoyer.
