Default Report: Bridgewater likely to miss entire 2017 season

Citing sources within the team, Cole saidin a video posted on Bleacher Report, “Doctors told the team that the shortest recovery time for that type of injury has been 19 months. Based on that timeline, Bridgewater won’t be recovered until March 2018 in the best case scenario.”

There was a time when ACL tears and anything on par or worse would effectively end a player's career. It has been a long time, though, since I have heard of a timetable being this far out. His knee must be completely shattered.

I watched first take the other day and dudes was arguing that the Bradford trade was a bad idea

Teddy almost lost his leg, they needed an expirence QB, he played good. I don't know how these idiots even think

Yep, I remember back in 2005 or 2006 when Brees had surgery on his throwing shoulder I thought his career was over, it might have been the reason why the Chargers let him go to the Saints, boy was I wrong.

As for Bridgewater, the injury was pretty horrific based on reports that there were teammates throwing up when they saw the injury. He might return in the 2018 season, but I doubt he remains the long term starter on a team.

Crazy how things change in just 2-3 years, after Bridgewater's nice rookie year he was crowned the star QB out of the 2014 draft, now Derek Carr is that guy while Bridgewater is absent.
