Default Drafts in the 80's

I'm just noticing that in the 80's there were 7, 8, or 9 rounds of the draft.

Is there a player that was drafted past the 3rd round that stayed in the NBA?
Anthony Mason and Craig Ehlo were 2 notable 3rd rounders.

I guess with NBA expansion and the increased talent pool of European players, the draft is down to 2 rounds.

Default Re: Drafts in the 80's

Round 4
7th pick- Ardvydas Sabonis
17th pick- Spud Webb
Round 7
21st pick- Mario Elie

Round 5
4th pick- Manute Bol

Those are about the only ones I could find.

Mario Ellie is a good story tho. 3rd to last pick and he goes on to play 11 seasons and win a ring or two...
