Warner is not a HOF QB to me.

Favre is the last QB to play that was a HOF'er. He played until 2010 or 2011.

The last HOF QB before Favre played in 2000.

Warner was surrounded by the most offensive talent I've ever seen at STL. Two HOF wideouts, good complementary WR's, maybe the best prime RB of all time, a great line.

After 2001 and until 2007, he was pretty much a severely injury prone scrub.

Then he latches on to Arizona for a couple good seasons with Fitz/Bolden in their primes. One is a HOF WR, the other is borderline.

Warner was a 2x MVP, 1x SBMVP, 3 SB appearances and has the record for most yards on a SB game

Dude is a hall of famer, not first ballot but he deserves to be in it

It's not odd to you that all his success came under the GOAT supporting cast a QB has ever had in STL, then when that supporting cast declined he also fell off a cliff. Goes to NYG and is a disaster. Then gets the best WR duo in the league to work with and had a couple really good seasons?

He obviously was a good QB. To me, HOF QBS don't have a 6 year stretch from their late 20s to mid 30s where they are hot garbage. I'm gonna guess his TD to INT ratio for those six years was around 1-1 and QB rating around 70. This is a serious black stain on his career.

Hey! I agree with you hill billy!!!

Absolutely ABSURD t.o. Ain't in.

I don't know what the FUCC is wrong with the voters with wide receivers.

Took Tim brown hekka to get in.

Took cris carter hekka to get in

Took Ozzie newsome hekka to get in

Makes no sense.

I think he was mostly injured on those years tbh

Im just saying on resume alone he deserves to be in the HOF, and his bad stretch of years is the reason why he shouldn't be(and wasn't) a first ballot HOFer

Warner is borderline.

IMO, unless your career is significantly short, if at any point you were THE best player in the league at your position I think that warrants strong HOF consideration.

Using that criteria, I'd say he's in. From 1999-2001 he was the best in the business.

was not the best player in football from 99-01.

He wasn't even close to being the best player on his own team in 2000.

I think it's fair to say he was the most productive player in 99.

He won MVP in 2001 doing 4900 yards 36TD/22INT (10 fumbles as well) but Marshall was right there, 2100+ total yards and 21 Total TDS from a RB is amazing.

I find it hard distinguishing between who was better in 2001. A QB accounting for 22 picks plus another 10 fumbles is tough pill to swallow.

Marshall was not a typical RB, his ability as a receiver made him a truly unique RB not only at that time, but at any point in NFL history.
