What was belichik before Brady?

1-9 tho

Literally the only thing you do on this board is suck MJ dick and hate on LeBron. That's literally it. Nothing else. If you aren't trolling, then you have issues, dude. Better seek help.

Meh, if Brady was as marketed as MJ, he'd be considered the GOAT beyond any doubt. At least there are a ton of people who still think that KAJ, BR, and Wilt are the GOAT's. Wouldn't be the same with Brady.

Brady is most definitely in Jordan's tier. Its him and Jordan if he wins tonight.

It's funny how people find a way to insult Phil Jackson and Bill Belichick so they can make arguments for their players.

Belichick and Jackson are two of the best coaches in sports history.

You can definitely talk about how the coaches affected the players, but let's not pretend Jackson and Belichick became better coaches because of having some GOATs on their teams.

A coach can help make players great. Players don't make coaches great.

Why? As far as North american athletes are concerned why would he be greater than Jim Brown, Jerry Rice, Lawrence Taylor, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Wayne Gretzkey.

manning's my goat arguably even if Brady wins a ring tonight since I barely care at all about rings for football. I can see why other fans think Brady is up there however since it's not like KAJ, Wilt, and Russell don't have cases.

Still don't see Brady as dominant as MJ. For now, Peyton Manning is the GOAT RS qb and I think even a lot of Pats fans are fine with that opinion. Joe Montana is the GOAT PS QB. MJ is both for the NBA most likely. Brady does have incredible longevity however unlike MJ but Manning and a few others guys beat him there too.

He's more like Kareem imo resume wise. Fantastic longevity and elite RS and PS play even if it's not the best of all time. However a few of his rings come from years where he wasn't a top tier qb just like kareem got a few rings when he was old.

Belicheck gets Cleveland browns outside of Brady...Phil gets Shaq and Kobe outside Jordan..seems fair. Phil was just a good people person, kept ego filled mega stars from killing each other.Belicheck is in popovich tier and his influence/culture spreads throughout the whole organization. you guys dumb if you think Brady is anywhere near Michael jordan

Belichick gets the same Cleveland Browns that were constantly in the playoffs, and won a Super Bowl 5 years later as the Baltimore Ravens

Seems fair to me

How is it wrong? Its much harder to win in football nevermind staying at the top like Brady has done for a majority of his career. 7 Super Bowls, possibly 4 wins if he wins tonight. 2 time MVP broke the TD record at the time. Only QB with a 16-0 regular season. He literally has the accolades no other player besides MJ can compare to.

there is one underrated thing about Phil people overlook. His teams almost never choked leads in the playoffs in crucial games and no teams have made more crazy comebacks. I'm not No other coach has that track record with comebacks/blown leads including Belichick. It's easy to give most of the credit to guys like Mj and Kobe but still.

I can only think of like 2 in 06 game 6 vs Suns and 11 game 1 vs Mavs and those were both <10pt leads. I might be missing some from the Bulls years however but they likely werent the most crucial games since the Bulls still won those series.
