I'm a huge Pats and Brady fan, but yeah there's no question. This entire team played like dogshit by their standards, and that includes TB. He may suddenly make the score look close, but it won't mean anything.

Regarding single player impact, we always talk about how the QB is so critical (and they are) but you're right: this game helps show that you can't even compare it to a star NBA player on the court with only 4 other guys. Basketball is my #1 sport and always will be, but football is the ultimate team game. That's what you call laying a damn egg.

Disappointing because to me the ONLY way we were gonna lose is getting punched in the mouth early and loud like this. I do wonder how this would have played out if we had gotten a 3-0 or even 7-0 lead. Bad throws, drops and the fumble cost us the chance to see that, but this team did not deserve to win.

If there is a QB that can play QB, kick and punt and also turn around and be Von Miller on defense, or cover Julio Jones 1 vs 1 and do the job......then we can start talking about rings = goat

Shanahan lost the game.

Hurry up with 8 minutes left up 28-9?

Throwing the ball at 25 when a FG wins the game?

Wow

Nah.

But literally every single 50/50 ball, every call, and every happenstance went the pats way in the 4th.

Winning the toss in OT was kinda a microcosm of that.

Just can't get over shanahan's decisions and Brady throwing 3 balls that got tipped that just happened to work out on in their favor on that last drive in regulation.

Of course Tom is probably the coolest cat that's ever been, but he had so many things that just dropped into his pocket.

We just gave one to them. Hopefully we see them again next year.
