Default Cavs Vs. Pistons Game 2

Rasheed in foul trouble already with 8 minutes left in the 1st quarter, 2 fouls. McDyess just took an elbow to the mouth and had to leave the game. Suddenly that depth the Pistons have in the front court helps out even more.

Detroit coming out getting scoring from Billups and Webber, both of whom were almost a non factor until late in Game 1.

Lebron coming out aggressive, went to the line once, but also drew a foul and turned the ball over once already on a play where he really shouldn't have.

Maxell swatted the hell out of Lebron and then Lebron came back and threw it down hard.

EDIT: Prince blows a little layup and Maxell threw down the rebound ON Lebron! Lebron came down and threw up a three, missed. Maxell returns down the court for a HUGE alley oop.

I never thought I'd see Maxell and Lebron going at it of all matchups.

Don't think James should have pulled up on that fast break.

At this rate we're looking at a blowout if we don't start making some shots here. Have we even led once in this game? CWeb got the first bucket I think.

Maxiell beasting, posterized Bron bad.

LeBron being aggressive, but taking too many jump shots.

Webber playing like he's back in Sacramento.

boring game despite the excitment.

Normally, Bron would pass that (at the end of the quarter), he had guys open. I think the talk after game 1 has gotten to him. We'll see how that plays out at the end of the game.

So refreshing to see LeBron not passing the ball or holding on to it too long. Cleveland's gotta shot in this game as long as LeBron stays aggressive and if they can some how control the boards. Detroit came out with everything in the 1st qtr but only has to show a 4 point lead for it. This Cavs D is really really good.

Pistons up 4?

I thought Detroit was so superior to Cleveland.

I dunno, he wasn't exactly lighting it up. How many points did he have? 3? 5?

I saw him brick 2 threes and get his shot blocked once, as well as blow a fast break by pulling up and dinking a short jumper.

At least Hamilton isn't lighting us up like game 1.

OH God they just put Damon Jones in. We're screwed.

LeBron needs to keep up with this aggressive play. He is the best athlete by far on the court, and he can't be stopped when he puts his mind to it. He needs to remember this.

Watch Damon Jones and Donyell Marshall. Marshall isn't as bad, but Jones idea of offense is to stand outside the three point line and wait for someone to pass him the ball.

Watch, he does it on every play.

Yes, but I'm glad to see Damon Jones in the game. They need his veteran leadership and deep outside shooting.

Are you watching? Three plays. Three times D. Jones stands outside the three point line and camps.

Big contributor.
