Question So.. Has Brady redeemed himself for 2008/2012?

Absolutely. Dismantled a "Dynasty" in the making... And the greatest comeback ever.

Absolutely.

Redeem what exactly?

He was already the GOAT QB after he beat the Seahawks 2 years ago. This win only puts him WAY ahead of the rest and puts him at GOAT player category in football.

He slightly under-performed in his first run in vs the Giants, but he still did enough to give Pats the lead to win the game.... if it weren't for the luckiest catch in superbowl history.....

2007, Brady sorta did his job. 2011 was a letdown. But there's no question that in both games, it took a lot of unlikely events (some lucky, some not) for them to lose. In 2014 and now 2016 they benefited from similar luck. I'm a Patriots fan but after the way these last two SB wins have played out, crying about David Tyree or Manningham should no longer be a thing.

Brady is now 5 of 7 in Super Bowls, and with how competitive most of those games have been (all decided between 3 and 6 points), he's exactly where he deserves to be. I wonder if any Brady ring from this point on will subconsciously boost Eli's HOF case in the minds of these stupid voters.

Spygate was for filming from the sidelines and brady didn't have shit to do with that

There was no definitive proof that he deflated the footballs

Joe Montana got dethroned, get over it

Adding two more rings subsequent to the Giants losses...yeah, I'd say the Pats as a whole redeemed themselves for that.

It does kind of even out. Crazy how he could have easily been 7-0 or 3-4.
