Default 2017 Draft Discussion

Combine is right around the corner.

Who is your dream pick for your team?

Who gonna ball out?

Busts??

I want obviously best o lineman available.

Or Zack Cunningham if he falls. He's a BEAST.

Kevin king in mid rounds. Watch his 3 cone time. Beast.

I really like Sidney Jones the corner on tape. He plays for Washington. I'd take him in the first.

I also am a big fan of their safety Budda Baker. He really pops off the film with his athletic ability and explosiveness. Would like him in the second.

I don't have any true first round grades on any olineman yet.

And real type... his 3 cone drill time if holds up would Be fastest EVER.

Once again we got lots of NFL prospects.

Joe Mathis and qualls also

Watson
Kizer
Adams
Hooker

In that order. We need explosiveness on each side. We also need playmakers. I don't mind going QB in round 2 if we land one of the top safeties. I just want them to stay away from Allen. I just do not want a DLineman with that 3rd pick unless it's Garrett.

Allen is a beast. You should feel lucky to have the opportunity to draft him.

DLinemen don't win games.

QB's though. I'm not saying our DLine is great and all but it's better than average. And our Front 7 is pretty good when healthy. But we don't have a guy in the secondary worth a lick of respect. And we all know our QB situation.

I mentioned it in another thread earlier but this team is lacking in interest in the city and I think management is definitely going to have a say in who the staff wants to draft.

Gimme a Reed/Polamalu lite back there then a McCoy/Dareus. I know I'm in the minority there but hey, that's just me.

Garappolo>>> Watson

John Fox runs the same system as NE, get a QB that has actually played in it.

No individual player wins game. You can have a great QB and still lose more games than you win, look no further than Drew Brees over the last 5 seasons, they've lost more than they have won.

You want to build the best team. Allen is a great prospect. You don't need to get the QB this year. Build the team up and find the QB later, that's a fine way to do it.

There will always be interest in the Chicago Bears, so that's of little concern.

They are one of the most storied franchises in NFL history.

Weak class for QB, according to experts the most NFL ready QB is Mitch Trubisky who only started one season in his college career.

I wouldn't draft any of these QBs in the first round.

The Redskins need to do better this year. I'm not even sure giving Doctson the benefit of the doubt going forward would redeem that 2016 draft class. Skins can't keep shitcanning their defensive coaches to cover up the fact they don't have enough talent on that side of the ball to meet expectations.

I like Dalvin Cook. A lot. I'm curious to see where he lands on draft day.

My pipe dream for the Skins is to get Malik Hooker. Reminds so much of Ed Reed on tape. We haven't had a playmaking safety that can break the game open for 10 years. However, there are a few damn good safeties out there the Redskins could procure.

I would be pumped to get Cook but it would be somewhat troubling if we didn't take a defensive stud in the first round with as much talent is there.

Reuben Foster would also be a more than solid selection for the middle of the round.

Y'all gonna draft my niggah Jon Ross III if he's still there and let deshawn walk.

Yeah, I don't think Skins front office feel he will be worth the deal he will command elsewhere. D-Jax is more of a supplementary player these days who can still be a game changer but I've come to terms that he's most likely playing elsewhere.

I like the UW receiver but it would be pretty baffling if that was our pick. He would be an excellent replacement for D-Jax but Jackson has some talents that not your every day burner possesses.

I wouldn't mind if we could grab Budda Baker and Ross, granted Jackson def leaves. Of course, that may be more unlikely than getting Hooker haha
