Mihm is most likely to return next season. However, he will currently be a FA this summer and I don't see the Lakers resigning him.

Couldn't find anything about Mihm's injury update on lakers.com. Hope everything work out for him, just not sure if he will be back with us.

really? i fully expect the lakers to sign him to some dinky 1 year contract and see how he does... i read someplcae in the last two months that Mihm is starting to rehab the ankle and is shooting for a return next season...he said that he would be happy with a small contract from the lakers and understood there was no way he was going to get a large contract from them...

he is a free agent but nobody will gamble and because he is a vetern if anybody does sign him they have to offer the vets minimum multi year contract but there is a provision in the CBA that allows the lakers and only the lakers to sign him to a one year contract for less than the vets minimum because he was under contract with them and missed all last season

edit: the article i'm talking about is posted here someplace i'm certain of it...

If he is going to resign with the Lakers, atleast put Mihm on the bench for the whole entire season. We could use Mihm if Bynum ever gets hurt.

Putting Mihm on the bench for that season will decrease his minutes, but will have a less chance of getting injured.

If we do resign Mihm! It would be good to start off slow. Him coming Off the Bench ain't that bad Idea! With on and off Minutes Mihm would help us best if he's in prime shape for the Play-Off!

It would suck to resign him and he would get injured again. I'm kind of glad he didn't try to make a quick recovery! It would be sad for him to have a career ending injury. Next season I believe Mihm will be a solid back-up letting Ronny play more PF. And hopefully we won't miss Cook when we trade his lazy ass.

Still think we should try to sign Jamaal Magloire. Whether or not Mihm gets resign or whether or not we trade Brown. Gut feeling about him, I believe he can help the team out. I would love to have all four centers next season! Brown Bynum Mihm and Magloire. Mihm and Magloire can play PF! So can Brown whether he likes to or not.IMO

And how much do you guys think Mihm will be getting paid next season?
