I don't know what you mean by rate, so I'll just give them a rating as if it was a video game.

Boykins - 76
Nene - 82
Smith - 79

And Boykins isn't a Nugget anymore. He was traded to the Bucks a looooong time ago.

Medicore maybe,

But mark my words if Earl had a few more inches on his size he would clearly be classified as a starting point guard, without question. The depth of his heart has spoken for itself over the years and he remains pound for pound one of the strongest players in the league.

Dont knock the Earl!

Dont knock the Earl!

Boykins chucks way too much, and has a tendency to run the shot clock down whilst he does laps of the half court dribbling. Cut out that nonsense and he would he would be a terrific player.

Especially if he could add a few inches miraculously.

I dont know how you can rate JR above Nene at this point. Terrible defender, nothing but a shooter with horrible shot selection. Nene has proven more to this point IMO.

Thats not saying JR cant be better some day, because he has tremendous potential, but right now i give Nene the upper hand. Either way, they both have shown the ability to become great players in this league.

Yeah... even when it was just him and AI before JR and Melo came, he still refused to let Iverson take a good 20 shots. I didn't really like having him.

I always hated the little man. Ironic, cause I'm an undersized scoring guard myself. But he hurt the team.

And everyone is rating to highly imo.

Nene-78
Boykins-70
Smith-69
