First off, everything in GNC is overpriced....i would never buy anything from there again. I did in the beginning because i didn't know better but wont do it again.
Secondly, you don't want most of your calories from protein powders/rtd shakes. They are intended to be used as replacements for a meal or two a day since it's kind of hard/annoying to eat 6 meals a day. It's always better to get your calories from whole foods as much as possible (so you are getting the same if not better calories/carbs/protein from your own shake that you make plus it's all made from whole foods).
I make my own shakes like others have mentioned in this thread as much as possible....but i typically have a premade protein shake (muscle milk, etc) at night before bed because i dont feel like making one or using the blender at night and making a bunch of noise.
