John Mayer? Doesn't he play cheesy pop ballads on adult rock stations? Gross.

I'd like to throw Josh Homme of Queens Of The Stone Age in the mix. He deserves to be there.

Wow, some of your guys taste of what you consider the best is awful. Especially The_Masterplan, you got typical white boy listening to whatever MTV tells you to syndrome. Yikes, I feel bad for you when you go to college and run into indie hipsters.

OK, you are right. Tom Morello, Slash, and Dimebag Darrell's guitar skills are all "suspect". I am reborn in your genius, sir.

Have you heard Breaking the Law by Judas Priest. K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton, they do a great job in working together in that kick ass song.

I really like John Frusciante from the chili peppers. I like his funky/bluesy/alternative sound. I also have heard good things about David Trucks. I am not to familiar with his guitar work, but I have heard good things about him. I will have to start listening to some David Trucks material and get myself a little more aquainted.

Lol ya right. Dont act like you know me TMOGE. I dont own any of John Mayer's CDs but have listened to songs on each of them.

The only band I listen to that is "MTV praised" is RHCP. That is it. And they arent even praised that much. They praise those ****ty pop-punk bands.

Queens of the Stone Age is ****ty.
