I had dreamed this up a long time ago...like 3 years ago actually. I just never had time to actually throw it together. The crunching of the numbers and typing it all took around 3 hours I think...maybe 4. I had a rare chunk of time open the other day and just said fck it. There could very well be a math error or two on this.

I can also do this same thing with WRs...hopefully I can do that at some point. I'd like to see what that would spit out.

QBs would be extremely difficult though, because the difference in time periods for one, modern QBs would have a huge advantage, and then the fact that I have to remove the post season. QBs are basically judged by post season. I don't think a list like this can be done for QBs really.

That'd be like goin against someone in fantasy and you only get one half of the game for their whole game.

Comeon g.
uh....you're talking about efficiency...Jim Brown did more when he had the ball than Emmitt did, thus his efficiency score is higher.

also...you do see that Jim Brown is #1 overall right?...above Emmitt. I can't move him any higher than I have him.

Y

You're "efficiency" score is based on ONE stat; ypc.

Comeon yo.

That's not very efficient.

If we are typing about careers efficiency it has to be on per game or per year bruh.

Bottom line.

Bulk has to be divided by games played. Then shit will be on point. On point.

Per run >>> Per game

no one looks at yards per game, one player could get the ball 30 times a game and the other get it 10 times a game

I could add receiving into efficiency somehow...yards per reception average or something, make that a percentage of the overall efficiency score

I'm typing about your bulk stat g.

That is 1/3 of the total

If you play more games your obviously gonna have more bulk.

Take bulk and divide it by career games then it's more accurate

I guess it's two approaches.

Stats and bulk vs per and eye test.

Goes back to my argument that Bo Jackson is top 1,2,3 goat EASY.

Some go by "bulk" , some go by eye

I think if you divide bulk by games played , it will match up a little better.

Even though your overall list stacks up good.

And once again, yes. Bo Jackson is EASY top 3 GOAT. EEEAAASSSYYYYY

If you divided the bulk by games played then it wouldn't be bulk any more...no one would be rewarded for their longevity. Someone playing just one game could have a higher bulk score than Emmitt

If someone plays a million games that is GOOD...not bad

The entire point of the bulk portion is to reward the size of the BULK

We can agree to disagree.

It just skews it a little.

It's 1/3 of the total.

Do it per season then. The rest will weigh itself out.
