I think I agree. But MJ was better off the ball than Kobe imo too. Kobe used to dribble more to get to a rhythm similar to AI at the time. MJ was quick. He catch the ball and then he made his move pretty quick.

And with MJ, he created more space due to his athleticism. His hang time and his vert was crazy. Just see how he high jumps with those shots man. And his quickness.

But as you said, the athleticism wasn't the biggest factor. It was the B-Ball IQ and shot selection. MJ just had better shot selection.

Kobe was just as skilled tho. Better handles and long range.

Imo, MJ not only had the better career but was the better b-ball player. He was just a more athletic and smarter version of Kobe. I mean, there is hardly anything than Kobe is better than MJ at...just handles and long range. Maybe hot streak?
