Default Dale Earnhardt Jr will retire from NASCAR this year

Kind of happy to see him go. He was the face of NASCAR for many years but he was way overhyped. He kind of reminds me of Kobe. Where as Kobe's hype built up from playing alongside Shaq, Jr's hype came from riding the coattails of his father. He was good but there were lots much better than him that didn't get anywhere near the attention from the media.

Met him at Lambeau Field.

Really nice and genuine guy, he's also tiny. Like 5'6"

Huge fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr., but he was never going to step out from that enormous shadow his father laid before him.

Plus, the racing game has changed and this is why some winners are very predictable.

How old are you? He was tiny right out of high school? But exploded in height the next year. He's still not tall, listed at 6'0, but probably more like 5'10/5 '11. Jeff Gordon is tiny at 5'7 and Jr looks like he has 4 inches on him.
