OBJ's year was a little bit down from his 2015 year...I can't help but to wonder how he would be viewed if it wasn't for 'the catch'...probably around top-30 or so.
Even in a down year he had a career high for receptions, 1367 yards, and 10 TD's. So he finished 3rd in yards, 3rd in receptions, and 5th in TD's. Some of the guys who finished ahead of him in those areas are Devante Adams, Jordy Nelson, T.Y Hilton who I think it's safe to say aren't as good.
OBJ, Julio, A.B are the clear top 3 WR's. OBJ probably the clear 3rd in that group. I don't think the catch is really a huge factor anymore. He's had double digit TD's every single year of his career, hasn't had less than 1300 yards in a season, 90+ receptions every year. He only started like 11 games his rookie year, missed a game his 2nd year.
Maybe top 30 if you think WR's are overrated, that's fair. Not top 30 if you mean without the catch there's another WR who's taking his place.
