Default Bitcoin @ $1500

As crazy as this sounds, at $1500 we are still in the early stages of adoption and you can set yourself up for life with a relatively small investment. Every single one of you should do a little bit of reading and buy at least $10 worth of Bitcoin, put it in a safe place, and forget about it... thank me later. This is not a ponzi scheme. If the anonymous and disappeared creator of Bitcoin were in it to **** everyone, he would have already dumped his position a long time ago. That should be obvious... instead, those coins remain untouched nearly a decade later.

Bitcoin has a few things going on right now that are not good for the short term price and will scare some people off and this run up to $1500 is probably going to see a large pullback to around $1000-$1100 per coin so maybe you'll want to invest at that point.

One of the largest exchanges in the world is currently prohibited from fiat withdrawals which is also contributing to the price drive upwards right now.

Currently it is undergoing a civil war, so to speak, because one miner has deceived the community and he has, for numerous reasons, a disproportionately large influence for a single individual and his interests are self driven and nothing else. He is personally holding back scalability and once the community gets to a point where he is no longer a road block, we will start to see the true beginning.

Despite being around for 8-9 years, we are still in the early stages of Bitcoin, and short of a coordinated government intervention in which multiple governments decide to build superstructures dedicated to nothing other than stopping Bitcoin and choking out the network, there will never be a time to get in like there is now... because once Bitcoin truly explodes, there will be no turning back. If no governments decide to all team up and make this a reality, it is going to get large enough to the point that nobody can stop it, including governments.

Sure, you could have gotten in around 2009 and be a millionaire now but you can still set yourself up for life by investing... now(or wait for the pullback as I said).

Bitcoin has essentially... solved the problem of "money" retaining its value and unlike gold, it is beyond easily transferable by comparison, and unlike pretty much anything, no imaginary geographical lines drawn by governments can stop it from moving anywhere almost instantly. This is not to be understated. Unlike paper money/fiat, there can only ever be 21 million bitcoins. It is highly, highly divisible and in the future it will probably become even further divisible. But there will never be more than 21 million bitcoins, a large portion of which will be lost and irrecoverable due to user error. If you don't believe anything I say, do your own research.

Aside from the current problems going on within the community... Bitfiniex exchange and Jihan Wu the miner blocking scalability and Segwit, the only large hurdles holding Bitcoin back are ignorance and ease of use. Bitcoin is not, admittedly, an easy thing to just jump into head first and understand, and for this reason, baby boomers and even the generation after them are probably never going to get on board, hence it being a good time to get in now.

But eventually we should see mass adoption.

but what will $10 worth of bitcoin do for me? even if it triples in value, it's not going to help me be set for life.

Triples in value... haha... if Bitcoin materializes into what it should materialize into, $10 of Bitcoin right now could be worth... $1000 in a decade... as far as the timeline goes, I don't know... I pulled that out of my ass. But you should know that short of some really dirty shit, the US Dollar is going to collapse sooner than later and all fiat currencies eventually go to 0.

The $10 is just to get someone started and beginning to understand how the currency works so they can truly start to realize what exactly this is. The $10 isn't necessarily to set you up for life. $100 could... $1000 would, beyond question. I would never advise that anyone invest in Bitcoin more than few bucks if they don't have a true understanding of what it is that they are putting their money into and all of the potential risks involved.

This is the biggest invention to change mankind since potentially... ever. The internet and electricity would be its only rivals and obviously without the internet it is useless, but I would argue that this is just as important as the internet in the long run.

Buying at all time high is not very smart. BTC can drop with hundreds of dollars in just a day, since its a unregulated currency market, there are tons of speculators.

See my previous post... don't invest that much money unless you do research and understand it.

Did you actually read my post?

And a lot of technological limitations? Not true.

The only thing they have to do is to speed up payment verification timeliness and waiting for widespread adoption to follow. While that is certainly not super easy to do, we are closer than you think.

I almost pulled the trigger when BTC was around ~100. Still kicking myself for not going through with it.

Used it to buy drugs off the darknet like 25 times. Shit works flawlessly and funny enough, the vendors you encounter on alphabay are knowledgeable as hell and quality control is their #1 priority as people test the shit they get and can leave feedback. Much safer buying drugs off of alphabay than it is buying drugs off the street.

Porn accounts, spotify accounts, pretty much any website you can get passwords for like $1. Sometimes even free

It will not be worth it for you to mine as an individual any longer unless you have access to free electricity. You will lose money.

I don't mine. I should have... when I first heard about it. That ship sailed long ago.

First off, Nvidia cards cant mine. With a single card? Forever. The mining difficulty increases over time and all the time, as we get closer to the last mineable BTC.
