From time to time, you get one of these debates that can tell you whether someone is able to be taken seriously in basketball talks. This is one of those debates.

Meaning... if you think Curry > Durant, you just don't really need to be taken seriously on anything basketball related. You clearly don't get it.

No, he just needed literally every team he played against to have multiple injuries to star players.

I win, you lose. Again.

Curry beat every other member of the all nba first team en route to winning the title in 2015.

Curry didn't do anything, he was a backseat player to Andre Iguodala.

Nobody gives Curry credit for that ring.

But if they were you would expect Durant to do better on average in my opinion. Curry is more likely to blow you out.

The fact that everyone else on the team, meaningfully has a better TS% when curry is on vs when he's off somewhat refutes this. It isn't just that curry can score and shoot, but he makes the game materially easier when he is on the court.

Curry is in his age 28 season and is likely to win a second title this year. That would math MJ at 28. The FMVP is a meaningless award but multiple people have won it in the last few years by all logic based on defense, not offense.

Oh, and the Spurs blew teams out in the playoffs this season without Kawhi, so I guess that argument is stupid.

Oh, and I'll take the fact that Parker will probably be the only player to ever sweep Lebron in the playoffs.

If you legit think parker was the best spur in 07 you need serious help.

Explain why Durant > Curry over the last three years. Curry's edge on offense is more impactful than Durant's edge on defense (Curry at least led the NBA in steals last year). Even this year, Curry has been the better player and you can SEE the Warriors play better when Curry is leading the team compared to when Durant leads the team.

It doesn't matter, since they're on the same team now. Maybe they can trade Klay for Westbrook and move him to SG so they can have the last 4 MVPs.
