i would definitely put money on primetime over pacman in fantasy, not because i think prime is more intelligent than pacman, but because i get the vibe that lady luck is always smiling down on his fantasy teams.

Fantasy Football is exactly like poker...Anyone can win once with some luck, no one can win consistently with luck.

I've made the playoffs every year in here but once...and that one year I had a shit load of unlucky injuries

I fair we'll in all my other leagues too only place I couldn't conquer is daily fantasy but it looks to me like the only ones conquering there are the sites themselves. 10% rake is a lot to overcome, you have to win 55% of the time just to break even.

well you need to win 55% of the time if you are only playing 50/50s, but if you are playing the giant tourneys you only need to score big like ~5-10% of the time or something.

but you are correct that conquering daily fantasy is a fantasy

Pacman Jones undoubtedly knows more about playing the position of CB than I do, I could never argue otherwise. But I'll fck him up in fantasy football, because I'm better at ranking players than he is. I watch more NFL than he does and I have a better grasp of what to expect stat wise from players, as well as injury odds, schedule strengths, breakout potential odds, etc etc. Also, he's an idiot, and many NFLers are. Aren't you friends with some players? You should know that then, many of them are uneducated and grew up on the streets. On top of that, the sport literally causes brain damage.

Bro.

Bruh

You can't make it to the NFL and not be smart.

Period. Point blank.

I made it to my level of hoop past many players that were WAY better than me because they were dumb.

At my level wasn't pro.

All my homies that made it, most noteably my homie that was fb for 10 years, who I'm sure most would think he's "not smart" is actually really smart.

He couldn't make to D1 school cus of grades, not because he was dumb, because he didn't give af and was always out actin a donkey pOartying.

Fantasy, I don't give a fucc

And I still don't care, if my homie tells me something who's better I'm gonna listen to him over any of y'all or any geeky ass journalists. Period.

And these journalists be holding grudges too. If you don't give interview, rude, they'll blast the player. And "rank " someone better or give more pub.

It's all a crock of shit.

In this particular list , players over journalists. End of FUCCIN story.

Are you kidding?...there have been NFLers that are literally illiterate.

Marshawn Lynch is probably 2nd grade level reading/writing, he probably makes your writing look like Shakespeare Bless lol...Chris Johnson too, there are so many thugged out dumb fcks in the NFL. Randy Gregory fails a drug test every other week. Aldon Smith joked about having a bomb at an airport. Retarded incidents happen regularly in the NFL, how can anyone follow this sport and conclude they are all smart?

not to dumb it down to street vs book smarts, but there are definitely athletes who may not be academically intelligent, but have incredibly dense football knowledge and in that case should be considered smart.

i agree with bless - you 100% can't make it in the NFL without being smart.

But i don't agree with bless in that player rankings hold more value than experts. that's pure silliness.

You can absolutely be an idiot and make it into the NFL...how the fck is this even a debate? Greg Hardy? Johnny Manziel? Aaron Hernandez? ETC ETC ETC. If they are all 'smart' then everyone is 'smart'. You think that 'dumb jock' stereotype just came from nothing?

I just guess pt's level of organized sports stopped at 4th grade.

I coach my son's 4th-6th bball team.

It is very obvious the difference of smart and not so smart kids

Running simple plays, and some get it first time, and some don't even after 10-15 times

Now, some of those kids that don't get it are physically better and RIGHT NOW are getting playing time, but there is no way, NO WAY if they don't grasp simple concepts they won't make middle school teams high school teams etc, let alone the pros.

Just because marshawn lynch don't speak properly or write proper big word essays don't me he's not smart

Racism 101. My goodness.

A "dumb" person would not be able to comprehend an NFL playbook. Do you understand how complex that is? Fucc. It'd be like a calculus book to most; they would get EVERY PLAY WRONG

He seemed to have done VERY well for himself since he retired.

Very very very smart

Stop being so got damn racist pt. My goodness.

You stay out of this. My threads never see this kind of traffic. I don't even care that it derailed into something barely to do with the op.
