Why wouldn't he want to sign with Philly? It's close to Pittsburgh where his good buddy Ben lives. Hear they have alot in common.

Hope it's true. Good signing. The reward is more than the risk.

You know what?

I wish Jay Williams (who's real name is Jason Williams) goes to the Heat to play with Jason Williams, and then the Heat sign the ex-Net, almost convict Jason Williams. It would be great....

"Jason Williams brings the ball down, passes to Jason Williams, Williams dribbles, dumps it inside to Jason Williams, Williams makes a post move, back out to Jason Williams, cross court pass to Jason Williams, Jason Williams for 3...he got it. Give the points to Jason Williams and the assist to Jason Williams...."

Jay Williams STATING alongside AI? Yall kids must be smoking crack. Jay has been on his road to the NBA ROSTER (forget starting, lets just talk making the roster) for awhile now. Yet he is good enough to start? Kevin Ollie aint even good enough to start at PG with AI at the 2. How the hell is Jay?

Because Kevin Ollie sucks, whereas Jay was a star in college and a #2 pick and it has been said that he's actually a better all around player now than before the injury. As long as he can retain a decent amount of the speed he had there's nothing stopping him from being a starting quality guard.

We just don't know anything about how good he truly is.

I don't think players can sign contracts until the 12th. Did the writer mean that he is expected to agree to terms verbally tomorrow?

What Jay did in Duke being drafted #2 = irrelevant.

His injury took away what he once WAS. Fact not fiction. He's tried out for teams and it didnt work out. There is a reason.

Any addition to Philly is pretty good at this point. Im hoping he can be a big contributor this coming season if he does decide to sign with Philly.
