he's not going to make the final roster. allen ray is good enough to make a career playing pro ball but not in the NBA, europe is where hes gonna be headed.

Good signing by the Celtics. What happens to Tony Allen now?

allen ray scored 18 a game so you're pretty close

He was given a contract. I'd say that that makes his chances good. I don't know whether or not it's guaranteed (terms were undisclosed) but it's a promising move for his NBA future.

He must have been horrible in workouts and the rest... I can't think of a reason he would go undrafted... but to tell you the truth, I'm happy he did. We now have a chance to get him on our roster and see what he can do. The drawback is that we have more "young talent."

I'll tell you why he went undrafted, he scored 19 a game on 39% shooting. The guy's a 6'2" chucker.

I can't wait for when Boston fans say they wouldn't trade him for LeBron.

I wouldn't trade stupid posts whining about Celtic fans for LeBron.

Anyhow, the deal is for two years, partially-guaranteed. Article on the rookie signings.
