possible encroachment of minutes. But Mitchell is a SG at heart, combo-guard as necessary. You can easily play them together. Just need to also make sure some combo of Ol' Joe, White Joe, and Hood are on the court for some shooting...

You make it sound like the Jazz had an elite offense last year or something. Were they even top 10?

Things have changed a lot since 2014

First of all, Mitchell is no point guard.

Second of all, Rubio replaces Hill. He'll get the minutes Hill would have gotten. There's no encroachment.

Yea. I agree.

Rubio is a better player now though imo.

And the Jazz are a whole lot better around him than that Wolves team was if Gordon comes back.

Hope we get to see it.

Hayward isn't coming back. Who wants Rubio?

Ok. Not really disagreeing or pointing out anything different. Explain it to the dude you were originally answering. I was just trying to answer for him.

So we all know now that Xiao Yao You will hate on Rubio for everything he does because he's already made a decision on the player.

Calling it now.

Rubio has one of the lowest usage rates of any point guard. He doesn't need the ball in his hands and he gets it out quick. He runs the offense.

But you know what you're talking about, so say whatever you want, I guess...

I mean, I'm w/ you. Jazz don't look that terrible. I'd be surprised if they finish below .500.

They lose Hayward, Hill, Lyles, and (probably) Mack. They gain Rubio, Mitchell, T Bradley, and NWG. That's not necessarily a huge drop off. Ppl acting like Jazz are 30-W team now. Snyder is a good coach. I still think they'll contend for a playoff spot. Whether they make it is another thing.

Rubio/Neto/Williams-Goss
Exum/Burks/Mitchell
Hood/Johnson/Ingles
Favors/Diaw/Bolomboy
Gobert/Bradley/Whitey

Not saying that's going to be the depth chart going in obviously they have a versatile team and can come out with a bunch of different lineups. They can compete and maybe grab the 8 seed, I just don't see enough guys who can stretch the floor.

Wrong. My opinion can change. I need to see it though. Worst shooter since 1980 doesn't get me excited though

Bradley and Goss will be in the G-league with Tyrone Wallace. Yes that is a huge drop off. Did you not see Hayward in the playoffs? They can't tank because Gobert is too good. They tried! But he can only take them so far in a loaded west

Need a back-up center badly. Speights or Muscala since Olynyk is gone. Diaw and Johnson need to go! If Johnson is on the team he better be at the 4. It's where he earned his money before he looked old against GS. Ingles should start at the 3. Hopefully Exum or Mitchell can do enough to start at the 2. You forgot Tyrone Wallace!
