Default Larry Bird would be nothing but a spot up shooter if he played post 2000

Can't beat anybody off the dribble...guy would be nothing more then a spot up shooter if he played in the NBA post 2000. He's Chris Mullin that just so happened got drafted to a championship team.

You can't be a forward with the athletic ability of Bird and be a great player.

Ryan Anderson= Larry Bird

Ranked ahead of Dominique & Dr J all-time.

It kills me when people say that Bird wouldn't be able to make it today, or be as good, because he's not athletic enough.

He wasn't considered athletic in the 80s!!! But it didn't matter, because Bird was everything else on the court.

No one says that except for OP, who's clearly a troll.

Dude would get swallowed up by the physicality, strength, speed and complexity of the game now.

His 80s "niche" is fundamental 101 for AAU kids now. Comparing talent level pool to draft/sign from back then compared to now is in the millions, worldwide in every corner of the globe.

Watch a full 80s playoff game, then watch a modern day DLEAGUE game. Its comedic

I know you never watched Larry bird but this sounds like you didn't watch Chris Mullin either.
