Adding another roster spot may be a bit too much (assuming 14 team league) so probably just switch current flex to superflex. Although best option imo would be switch the third wr spot to the superflex so we would have qb wr wr rb rb te flex superflex.

I'm in again. I'm cool with whatever rules the majority decides. Never done a two QB league before, or even a 14 person league but not really against it.

Whoa... seriously?

you guys really considering 2QBs?

that would change my strategy entirely... not sure if that's a good idea, but not opposed to it.

I do vote for $120 buy in this year...

$140 next year

$160 the year after...

pretty soon $100 is not gonna be worth our time investment. So we should start increasing the buy in.

(will trade for #1 pick)

I think 2 QB leagues are silly. I get that it makes QBs more valuable...but there is an easier way to do that. Just make the QBs points worth more. At the very least, make their TDs 6 points as well just like the RBs/WRs. But do more as well.

It makes sense, QBs are worth more in real life, so they should also be in fantasy. More and more leagues are starting to follow this trend. At least in the 100k league I won last year played it this way. It made it so drafting QB in 1st round was not a shocker. A few go 1st round every year in fact. Often 1st pick.

Making QB points worth more would add some value to the position simply by inflating their stats...outside of the few top ones, the position becomes insignificant again. In a system that allows you to run 2 QBs, nearly all starting QBs become valuable...adding a positional scarcity element to it, something inflating their stats doesn't. Decisions on QB lineups/matchups/trades/waivers take on greater significance, which gives real value to the position.

IMO having QB as a flex option is functionally the same as having the league be 2 QB. Your average QB3 like Winston or Dalton or whatever is going to rack up FAR more points than your average flex level RB or WR. Unless you somehow drafted 3 RB1 or 3 WR1, you are likely putting yourself at a disadvantage using anything but a QB in that flex spot.

That said I have really enjoyed the 2 QB leagues I have played in the past and would be down to do QB flex with 12 people, I just dont think it would work with 14.

Not necessarily, having a flex option allows you to use RB/WR on weeks where your QBs have a bye or are injured. A 2 QB system would be a serious handicap if you only have 1 eligible QB to play.

I'm in again. Probably won't be checking in too often since it feels like I'm moving into a new apartment every god damn year when this league gets started up. Moving in with my girlfriend this year so probably even more of a hassle lol (just kidding she's great).

But I'm cool with $120 or whatever money the league votes. Just count me as a yes.

I'm in. Fine with keeping things as is but adding 2 teams and/or making it 2QB is OK too. I agree the best way to implement it is keeping the regular flex and changing the WR3 to a superflex.

Obviously you want to play a QB there but as hotsizzle says it can be really crucial to have that option in an emergency.
