4th: $100

I'm good with14 but wasn't our 1st place $700 previously? Adding 2 teams and having a lower payout is dumb. Why would we give money to 4th place?

1st: $820
2nd: $400
3rd: $100
High Scorer: $100

That plus the $20 per week would be better I think.

We can vote on the payout but there have only been a couple times someone has actually taken the $700...most of the time the final 2 settle for less.

In poker a 14 man tourney would pay out 4...I personally think all of the final 4 getting paid would be cool...but again, we can vote

yeah in a sit and go. if they had a 17 week tour with the same players playing every week with only one payout at the end, they wouldn't break the prize pool up into four players.

What do you think they would do?

We need to make this an 80 man fantasy football league...everyone's roster is just 3 flexs and that's it.

Draft would be pretty important

I think 1st place should take-all. Imagine leaving with $1,680 at the end of this. Fine, 1st place $1500 and 2nd place can get $180 for being so close, that would be cool too.

Never understood why leagues pay so much to the 1st 2nd "losers". Always taking away from my winnings.

If you played enough fantasy you would understand there is a decent degree of luck involved...paying out the top few instead of just 1 helps insure those who did well make out. It lessens the luck factor.

Not even the greatest fantasy expert on the planet could place 1st every single year...but he could probably make top-4 consistently

Yeah he doesn't pay for money tho. All the things he's listed have been free to play tourny's.

Glove has been doing this since I've been in the league. Talks shit, asks to control the league, refuses to pay and follow the rules. Maybe he'll finally actually pay up if there's a spot for him.

I'm with Jail on the payout. If we add 2 teams, don't like the idea of 1st place paying out lower. Paying 4th place seems like too much if were already paying out 20 bucks a week + high scorer. I'd vote no highest scorer prize, and give the extra 100 to 1st place. If were already doing 20 bucks a week that seems like a enough.

some of you already voiced...

FOR OR AGAINST 14 TEAMS

~primetime~: FOR
hotsizzle: FOR
NuggetsFan: Either way
Doomsday Dallas: Either way
Jailblazers7: Either way
FUTěN: Either way
RedBlackAttack: AGAINST

So far it is 2 FOR and 1 AGAINST...5 are good with whatever

ballinhun8?
tpols?
TheSilentKiller?

Either way is not a vote.

14 team leagues suck. Those are no votes as far as I'm concerned.

So... 5 against, 2 for.

They aren't voting for or against...it's basically a non-vote

But if Knowledge and Illini don't show it probably doesn't matter because I doubt all 4 of the replacements we have now are real *cough glove*

Let's just give it a few days before we start debating this.

if im forced to pick between for and against, im against 14 teams. 12 is better (especially 12 very active / knowledgeable players)

not that my opinion matters, but if it did, i would throw my support behind 12 teams rather than 14... just saying for the record...

Fully against 14 teams.

We barely have enough talent with the way our rosters are set up now (3 WR and a FLEX). I'm also against 2 QBs for that same reason. There aren't 24 starting QBs worth a damn in the league anyways.

The payout structure shouldn't pay for fourth place either. It makes the last game meaningless for the 3rd place game. That still has competition in it when it decides who wins money so keep it that way. But I do like the weekly top score prize.

Agree with everything RBA has said. Oh and thanks PT for the shout-out on my late payments lol.
