Default Future Odds of winning NCAA Championship 2017-18

Put your money on the Cats now:

Quote:
When the dust settles, here’s our educated guess at how the 2017-18 Kentucky basketball lineup shakes out.

Starting five

PG Quade Green (6-1), 5-star freshman

SG Hamidou Diallo (6-5), 5-star redshirt freshman

SF P.J. Washington (6-8), 5-star freshman

PF Mohamed Bamba (6-11), 5-star freshman

C Nick Richards (6-11), 5-star freshman

Next five

PG Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (6-5), 4-star freshman

SG Mark Smith (6-5)/Jemarl Barker (6-2), 4-star freshman

SF Jarred Vanderbilt (6-8), 5-star freshman

PF Wenyen Gabriel (6-9), 5-star sophomore

C Sacha Killeya-Jones (6-10), 5-star sophomore

8 of the 10-man rotation will be Freshman. That's absurd.

26-10, with 7 of those losses coming against top 25 teams.

Likely to return their entire starting five.

Our pride and joy of Queens, Hamidou Diallo

Dont be surprised when this guy dominates the SEC and goes #1 overall

This guy is as locked in and focused as they come

The best part for this guy is... he's spent the past few months practicing against UK's All-Americans every day.

As in, every day he went up against Monk/Fox/Briscoe. He's going to be something special, I've heard nothing but good things coming from the BBN insiders regarding him.

They overachieved, but I can't see them being placed equal with Oregon man.

Sure, Oregon will be without Ennis & Boucher (don't think Brooks declares personally, maybe Bell). Adding Troy Brown will be a boost, plus, Altman is the best Coach in the Pac-12. I'm sure if McCoy declares Oregon, it'll change things.

SC is adding Obannon, and role players.

Just can't see a justification for them given the same odds.

If Oregon can retain two of its big three players next season, they will be a Top 10 team.

He just declared for the draft, no agent

Knew he would. He'd be dumb not too.

He is the epitome of 'using UK as a stepping stone'. A lot of talk that he wouldn't even wear a Kentucky jersey.

If he's a lotto pick, more power to him. If not (like Bam), he should stay another year.

Speaking of Bam... what an idiot. Of course, that tells me UK is going to get Mohammad Bamba, which is quite the consolation prize. UK already has one 5* C and a 5* PF coming in next year.... Adding Bamba would mean someone isn't going to get PT.
