They don't shoot 3s. Wade is still good at times but Rose has been a net negative for years.

I wasn't saying they were bad players (Rose is though, unless he accepts a lesser role and stop being disgustingly inefficient) so much as that they fit poorly with the Cavs.

Wade is better than a lot of guards. But the Cavs need 3PT shooters in that role. It's about fit.

Rose is bad tho

Rose shot 47% last season.

53% TS. Which isn't horrible but is far from good. Still its actually a lot better than I thought it had been to be fair.

49.3% and 47.9% in terms of TS in the two prior years though

I don't get why the Cavs got Rose and Calderon. They now have basically 4 PGs with Lebron. With Felder even 5. Why wouldn't they try to get a decent big man instead?
Because they were acquired before they got Thomas. Then didn't know who they were getting back in a trade or if Kyrie was even going to be moved before the season started.

Damn Cavs bench has more all stars than some teams starting 5.

Stacked to the roof

To me the Cavs roster still looks a bit unbalanced. Why would you sign 3 good pointguards when you know that Lebron will also handle the ball a lot? On the other hand they have no real proven center and only one good powerforward.

I think last year their biggest problem was their weak defense and I don't see how they've really addressed that issue (except for the addition of Crowder).
