Default Fantasy Team Grades and Advice

Took 2 years off of fantasy so went into these drafts pretty blind

12 Team PPR $40 buy in (childhood friends)

QB A. Rodgers
WR M. Evans
WR E. Sanders
RB J. Howard
RB B. Powell
TE J. Reed
Flex P Garcon
Def Panthers

Bench
Gillislee
Jordan Matthews
Rishard Matthews
T West
Jack doyle
Andrew Luck
Jeremy Hill

10 Team PPR $50 buy in (work league)

QB Brees
WR M. Evans
WR Demaryius
RB J. Howard
RB Ty Montgomery
TE J. Reed
Flex Golden Tate
DEF Arizona

Bench
Jarvis Landry
Digs
Garcon
Robert Kelley
Dalton
James White

How would you rate these? Also in the 10 teamer I took White over Duke Johnson who is still available, who do you prefer?

Has anyone played in a 2 QB (1 QB + QB Flex) league?

I just joined one, $100 dlls entrance, but I've never played in one before, anyone has any advice on how to draft here?

This is a pretty strong team w/ a slight weakness in rb depth. if luck comes back looking good he'll be strong trade bait.

This is a stronger team, but it is also 10 team vs 12. Your WR depth is really really good. rba would be the one to ask about duke johnson, but id prolly lean towards him as the pats have such a revolving door at rb it is hard to judge.

pretty thin at RB on both teams, but that seems intentional?

as long as evans, howard, and reed all play well, you should be fine!

and to answer your question i think i would take duke johnson over white personally

RB depth slightly intentional just because WR's are so deep. In the 10 teamer I could've had Kareem Hunt really late but yahoo rankings had him so low I forgot he was out there

Thanks fellas we'll keep this going for general start/sit and trade/FA advice

Bilal Powell is terrible...seriously

Even if they trade Forte, and he gets all the touches, he is barely playable

He's just so slow, reminds me of Trent Richardson when I watch him

I'd bet anything he won't be the Jet's starting RB come week 8

I'd definitely start West of Powell going into week 1

Woodcockhead is injured, West should get the bulk

powell is not nearly as bad as trent richardson. last year he was 4th in receptions for rbs and ended the year at RB21 in 0.5 ppr despite playing behind forte for the first 12 games, i dont see why he cant do that again this year.

okay, he's no t-rich

He is a terrible RB though...if we were to make a list of the 32 'starters' he might be ranked dead last for me IDK, definitely bottom-5.

Right now he isn't even listed as the starter though, Forte is. Old washed up Forte is more skilled too, they should keep it that way and not trade him.

powell is def toward the bottom of the list but there are some stinkers out there - rob kelly, paul perkins, terrance west, legarrette blount, the ghost of frank gore...

Saw yesterday Forte is getting cut if they can't trade him. And Powell was 2nd highest scoring RB last 4 weeks of 2016 I read. He's had a good preseason. But admittedly I haven't actually watched him play.

I would compare Powell to a very poor man's 2016 Todd Gurley.

Who the f*ck do the Jets have?

Nobody.

The Jets are clearly the worst team in the league. Clearly.

pure garbage. I wish we had a team like that in the NFC East.

2 qb or superflex leagues are awesome. How many teams are in your league? The larger the league, the more valuable qb position is.

It is just amazing to me that Forte is about to be cut. Yes, he is 31 which is an old for the position. Sure, injuries have been mounting over the years and the Jets have younger, higher ceiling guys in their stable.

But the guy can still play at a high level when he is healthy. He has averaged around 4 ypc his last two years and is still formidible as a pass-catching H-back.

He isn't a workhorse anymore and I'm sure this is all about cost-cutting (much like Joe Haden earlier today) ... but it is hard to believe that he doesn't make the Jets better.

SMH. The NFL is just brutal. That's why I will never blame a guy for following the paychecks, loyalty be damned. As soon as a veteran player's bottom line even approaches the assett-to-cost threshold, he is as good as gone. A guy doesn't even have to be washed up anymore... just a little regression and >30yo.

Forte could easily be a DeAngelo Williams guy that kills it as a backup or spot starter. If I were the Giants, I'd sign him as soon as he gets cut. I could also see him as the perfect NE late career RB that they get for cheap.
