I've actually owned Powell in fantasy before...watching that guy run is fcking painful lol. Soooo sluggish, no explosiveness. I guess that's why I'm so confident about this bet...I'm familiar with him. Even if Forte gets hurt I think odds are Jets will give someone else a shot while they suck, test other RBs.

wasnt chris ivory the starter in 2013?

anyway like i said earlier, no doubt powell is one of the worst starting RBs in the league...but I think he can def score 4 TDs. the jets have a very favorable schedule and his receiving skills bode well for all that projected garbage time...

It says he played all 16 games and was the starter 11 of those games. Ivory is so much better than Powell but Ivory is always banged up in some way. I've owned Ivory a few times, he is frustrating because the talent is there but the health never is.

Forte is listed as the current starter on the Jets depth charts btw...but articles do suggest that the Jets intend for an even split between the two.

We shall see, sir....

Jets RBs coach Stump Mitchell said at minicamp the team's plan is to use "both" Bilal Powell and Matt Forte.

Mitchell added Powell would be a "Pro Bowler" if he ever got a chance at feature back work. Matt Forte's presence on the Jets' roster is nonsensical as they embrace full-on tank mode. We wouldn't be entirely surprised if Forte were released later in the offseason, especially if Powell and rookie Elijah McGuire show well. Either way, Powell is the favorite for touches.

Good luck to you.

you left out the link...that text is 3 months old

Forte is the better RB of the two, even at age 31....that's a fact. If BOTH are healthy all year I guarantee Forte will out stat Powell.

First time in a 10 team PPR league. QB TDs are worth 6 pts

2 QB

2 RB

4 WR

2 TE

1 QB/WR/RB flex

My starters:

Rodgers
Brady
Brees

Gronk
Kelce

Cooks
Fitzgerald
Marvin Jones
Beasley

Frank Gore
Sproles

I just can't even grade a 10 team PPR league that uses 2 QBs....no idea

you're stacked at QB and TE...a bit weak at WR and really weak at RB

My guess is that you should probably shop Brees for a mid tier RB in your league

I dont understand how this roster is possible in a 10 man league where you can start 3 QBs. Rodgers, Brady and Brees should have all been first round picks, and Gronk + Cooks + Kelce are all early rounders too. Are the other people in the league unaware of the fact that you can start 3 QBs? What pick did you have and what order did you draft these players in?

given your settings this is an excellent roster

actually how is Sproles even a starter for you?

https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/rank...heatsheets.php

^^^ he projects as the 37th ranked RB in PPR...in a 10 team league, that means every single team drafted 3 RBs, some taking 4, before you drafted Sproles as a starter.

I'm thinking there might actually be RBs on waivers who are a better option...or just whatever RB is on your bench.

who cares? he can just leave sproles spot empty all season and he will probably still coast. having the top 3 QBs in a 3QB league with 6pt passing touchdowns is pretty much game over

I purposely didn't draft RB till very end. Guys always pop up on waiver and I have first claim.

I can't trade brees he's my flex qb I won't find a higher scoring RB that him besides untouchables like David Johnson.

I do imagine those 3 QBs would be over powering...you made the correct top 3 picks.

But Nanners is right...all 3 of those guys should have gone 1st round

actually Rodgers, Brady , Brees should probably be the top-3 picks overall

I made pre draft trades I had a few extra second and third rounders but didn't draft again until round 7 for Fitz and then no picks until round 15 lol

Pretty stuck on my flex since snead got suspended...its between

Prosiese @ Green bay
Gore @ LA
Sproles @ Washington

I was thinking about stacking Sproles blount to have a floor for something...one of thems gotta have a good game. Prosiese should get targets in a shootout but his in a Sproles role...and gore is on a crappy offense vs a great defense but is a starter....don't know
