In one $50 league I'm in...

I lost week 1: 113 - 58.1 (19pts less than anyone else)

I won week 2: 147.9 - 92.5 (41pts more than anyone else)

That's what happens when you have Tom, Benjamin, Dez, Henry, D. Adams, and Freeman.

Fantasy...

Would you make any changes? I've been running with Tate but he's got Xavier Rhodes this week so I benched him. I think Landry is the one I'm wondering if I should start.

^^^ If Jenkins is going to shadow Evans...id be tempted to bench him

IDK...it's close...for me anyway, I doubt any site would advise that or project to bench him

What do you think about this trade?

Standard League with Supler Flex (QB)

Jordan Howard (RB)
Tyrod Taylor (QB)

For:

Doug Martin (RB)
Jameis Winston (QB)

It is always fun to load up your team with guys you can actually root for, but if you're trying to make an argument that this trade is even, I don't see how that could be done. It is objectively onesided in both positions.

one one side you have a running back who played 8 games last year and has been suspended four games and entered rehab during the offseason. In the 8 games he played, he averaged 2.9 YPC with 3 TDs. That was on 18! carries a game.

on the other side, you have a running back who played 15 games last year and has already played his first four games. In the 15 games he played last year, he averaged 5.2 YPC with 6 TD (and caught for anothe 300 yds and a TD). Howards rookie year was a better scoring fantasy season than all but one of Martins six seasons in the league. This year, Howard has been off to a slightly slow start, but he has already flashed that promise by putting up 140 yards and 2 TDs against the Steelers.

Winner - Jordan Howard, and it's not close

on one side you have a turnover prone quarterback who scored in the single digits four times last year. He has a high ceiling potential, but consistency keeps him out of being a legitimate qb1. He averaged 15.2 ppg last year. In his first two games, Jameis is off to a fairly normal start for him, averaging 14 ppg.

on the other side you have a much more consistent fantasy qb in Tyrod Taylor. He only scored in the single digits twice last year and averaged 16.9 ppg. Taylor has been averaging 15.7 ppg so far this year.

Winner - Tyrod Taylor

Good **** bro, see?

We can get along, no need to be that hostile, thanks for the review, and trust me, there was a reason why i didn't draft any Buc on my team.

What scares me about Tyrod is that he always gets injured, and I really think Martin is back to his 2014 form, and obviously have high hopes on Jameis breaking it this year, however last week he went to that unreliable and inconsistent QB..

Thanks for the analysis, I will keep it in mind!

what? the original post wasnt hostile at all imo. its a weak trade and the only reason one would consider it is if they are a total bucs homer.

you want to see hostile look at how i interact with carbine.

I need to fill 1 WR and 1 flex spot with 2 out of the following -

melvin gordon @ new york giants
chris hogan @ tampa bay
devante parker vs tennessee
martavis bryant vs jacksonville

right now i am leaning toward gordon + hogan, but I feel like parker is due to explode any week now and the titans defense at home seems like as good a matchup as any for him

fantasypros has hogan and parker at near 50/50 - https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/star...nte-parker.php
