Default Any bold predictions for the season ?

I read the SI NFL predictions issue and I was disappointed they took a knee and didn't make any bold moves (unless you include the Vikings winning the North)

Anyway here are mine.

Carolina wins the South
Falcons miss the playoffs
Raiders make the Super Bowl

That is bold now imo

After last night I'd put them 10-6 or so, still playoff bound but no SB.

I think the Pats offense still looks high caliber but the defense looks flat out bad.

Jameis Winston MVP season

45 TD's
15 Ints
6 Rush TD's
70 + Comp %

11-5 Record

Most people think the Bucs and Titans will win their division. I definitely think the Titans will.

The problem I had with the Sports Illistrated preview is different teams make the playoffs each season only a few teams like the Packers, and Pats make it every year. I think anyone can guess the Seahawks will be good and the Browns will be bad . Maybe the Lions or Eagles will be better than their expectations. Maybe the Boys will suck compared to last year.

I would hope the Bucs have a better record than 11-5 if Winston has 51 TDs this year.

Well, Titans are in the worst division in football, they are pretty talented, so no reason why the wouldn't make the playoffs..

Wrong AFC east and NFC west are worse.

1. 49ers will be better than some think
2. Giants will win the NFC East and possibly make the NFCCG
3. Falcons will miss the playoffs

disagree

imo AFC south is far worse than AFC east or NFC west. yes the AFC east and NFC west are both home to some of the absolute worst teams in football (Jets, Rams...etc), but they are also home to some of the absolute best (Pats and Seahawks). Meanwhile nobody from the AFC south has been relevant in ages, and even if the titans + texans are relatively good the division still contains the laughable colts and jags.

while the bottom of the AFC south is similarly shitty to the bottom of the AFC east and NFC west, the top end of the latter 2 is seemingly miles ahead of the best that the AFC south has to offer.

If you ask every team whether it would be easier to win the AFC south, AFC east, or NFC west...every single team would say AFC south.
