Default The gap between Curry and Westbrook is bigger than people think

Durant is 5-2 vs Lebron with Golden State
Durant is 4-17 vs Lebron with Oklahoma City

No other way to explain this disparity except Curry is just that much better than Westbrook

Yeah the rosters are identical otherwise and there are zero other factors. I agree completely. It really is that simple. Most basketball analysis is... it all comes down to >, < or =. There are no complex variables and equations buried beyond it all... it's just a simple 1 + 1 = 2!

Draymond and Klay

That's the real difference

Put Westbrook on this team in place of Curry and they get better. Durant and Klay provide plenty of spacing for one team

WB gives you 24/10 every night and has the energy to focus on defense. WB is an elite defender when he focuses on that end (see the olympics)

would be the best offensive and defensive team of all-time, easily

In the only playoff series that mattered durant poasted 35 ppg on 70TS. That is the highest combo of volume and efficiency every produced by a superstar in the finals. THAT is the impact of stephen curry.

Durant did average 30.6 on 65TS in the 2012 finals, against a much better defensive team than the current Cavs.

Because the Thunder were a 73 win team without Durant, right?

I don't buy that because Westbrook doesn't want to play in a motion offense. He has no interest in playing off the ball in Kerr's system.

Curry is the better player.. The gap is significant due to Westbrook's cancerous mentality.

With westbrook kd generally shot in the mid 50s TS in the playoffs...curry unlocked 70TS. He was parting the sea for him all poast season long in a way westbrook couldnt
