The Pistons were 10.9 points per 100 possessions better with Drummond on the bench than on the floor in 2016-17.

Damn...that's ****ing sad. This guy was supposed to be the next Dwight Howard and he probably isn't even better than current dwight!

Nicolas Batum is underrated. He has more of a positive impact on the court than either Barnes or Wiggins. Just looking at ppg, smeh

Carmelo should at least be top 50. It's delusional that they have Lonzo over him

Haven't even played a pre-season NBA game hahahaha

Will not even read the lists tbh

Melo's known as a scorer, as he should be. His scoring numbers the last two seasons (played 70+ gms in both) are pretty much identical. The Knicks managed to lose 50 games in both seasons, and being in the east makes that even less underwhelming.

Now to be honest, the hapless Knicks aren't his doing, but it affects perceptions, and hence rankings. I imagine Lonzo losing 50 games would definitely mar the reputation of his impact, even as a mere rookie playing in the West for a storied franchise, with all eyes on him dissecting his every move.

Call it the Summer League effect if you will, but winning (while dominating) actually matters, and Melo hasn't done that in quite some time. True Lonzo is still a question mark and Melo isn't, but in this case it works in Lonzo's favor because he's perceived as a game-changer.

The hapless knicks aren't his doing? He's being paid the max while having little to no impact out there. He was garbage for the knicks this past season. When you're being paid the max, but are garbage...you're kind part of the reason and you deserve to take blame.

He's part of that dysfunction, but he didn't cause it. GM, owner, management, culture, all precede him imo.
