minute you catch the ball turn, make one solid fake and sprint like hell, if he doesn't bite you just set your man up and cross his ass up, and remember, breaking presses by yourself is heroic!

whisper: didn't that skyscraper dude just join like yesterday? he's already practically doubling me for posts

If you are single team, dosent metter if you are small, post the guy and dribble low, then try to go away from the basket so you bring the guy away from the paint and you got more room to pass the ball or atack if he try to take the ball from you. Never Never stop the dribbling or you will get stock with no room to pass or shoot because your small.

call time-out! : : :

if not dribble to ball low and bring it up... if he goes for the steal there'll probably be a foul... if he doesn't you succeeded!

definitely don't dribble into any pressure you're not confident in handling...as mentioned by others, if you can get your shoulder down, don't hesitate to act on that...if you hesitate and make the defender realize what you're gonna do he can take a step back and step into your lane cutting it off...

however...hesitation can be an art...something i've never mastered...just keep your defender guessing and never do the same thing exactly the same twice in a row...it will give your defender confidence he doesn't deserve...always own the situation, and don't be confined to what your defender is doing...make him react to you...that puts you in control

no 8 second call in pickup games. just slow it down and go lateral.

or work on splitting the trap

Never Stop Dribbling...

If Ur At Mid Court Try A Jab Step Or Fake On Ur Weak Side And Spin To Your Right. If You Perfect This Move And Keep Ur Eyes On The Rim Ull Be Un Stopable

But Of Courseif U Do Go To The Sidelinestoss The Ball On Him As Low And Soft As Possible. Haveing The Ball Out Of Bounds Is Better Than A Turnover

Here's something to go along with the other suggestions.

Start off bringing the ball up with your non-dominant hand. Vast majority of the time the man pressuring the ball will put more pressure ball-side.

This means he'll give you a chance to crossover to your dominant hand and accelerate into the front court. Don't make it an exaggerated crossover. Just bust a cross and explode out. Make sure you are putting that ball out in front of you so you can take longer strides as you run.

Next time the you brings the ball up the defender will be aware of the crossover. Many times he'll be so aware that he makes himself an easy target for a double crossover.

use your body as a shield, and back up.. always back up.. he comes at you u back up.. if you get him to follow you back.. hes beat, well if you put a good move on him. But when ever your backing up and your defender is following him hes easy to beat, because hed have to immediatly start going backwards which is hard if he has foward momentum. you get what im saying? And you can use an arm bar to keep him from the ball.

"Dribble low and turn your back to them. If they know you're getting nervous and pressured, they're going to try to take the ball or poke it away. Just protect the ball with your back and wait for an opening. Dribbling low is key, and not panicking."

Yeah thats how I learned to do it...
